Congratulations to the Knights. Fantastic football team. Very physical, very skilled, and really well prepared. Excellent quarterback. That might be the strongest team along the line of scrimmage UW-W has played in years (that's saying a lot given UW-O and UMHB). 

I wonder if you guys overplayed your hand.  We do have a job opening over here you know.

What a great team filled with a bunch of great players you have over there at Wartburg. Fought hard, strong lines, stud QB. It was a great season, if you keep recruiting and playing like you did I'm sure you'll break through sometime soon!

Wartburg Knights were stellar competition yesterday. They were, every bit, our match.  Congrats to them, their staff and fans on a terrific season.

Shrader was excellent but the real key to the Knight's success was the play in the trenches.  Wartburg is the first team that truly won the battle in the trenches against UWW a majority of the game.  The last time the trench battle was that fierce was UMHB last year.  While other teams in the top 8 in prior years might have great skill players, success in the quarters, semi, and championship is determined along the line of scrimmage.  Again Wartburg's lines on both sides played excellent.
