You can do amazing things with a $33 million dollar gift. Wow.

Interesting to see what Wartburg will do to compete with this. The SJU v UST Arms Race is fun to watch up here in the MIAC. Actually it goes beyond those two schools. The athletic dept put up a huge video scoreboard last year at Augsburg. It's nice and about 1 foot taller than UST's!

Okay ... who has predictions on how the IIAC Pre-season coaches poll will read?
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

Fannosaurus Rex

The coaches and I lack imagination.  We will just go with last year's order of finish.

Coaches will vote...
1 - Wartburg (7 1st places votes)
2 - Central (1 1st place vote)
3 - Coe
4-8 anyone's guess

Though Mr. Rex probably has a good guess that last years finish could be copied and pasted  ;)

Looking at the map does that mean the TKE house could be a thing of the past?

Hello, a bunch of us are looking to do a West Region fan poll again this year. I'm still looking for a few more participants if anyone is interested. I would love to get one or two posters from the IIAC. You just have to send me your list of top 10 teams from the West each week. I'll put everyone's picks together and post the results in the West region. It usually makes for a good debate.

Please send me a message if you're interested.

Much appreciated.

It is no secret that I am a long time Central fan.  And the funny thing is, this is the third or fourth year I can remember when I am thinking, Central won't have a bad year this year, but next year, it is Stagg Bowl for sure baby.  Of course I am always wrong but my great age gives me a long term outlook on things.  Yeah yeah I know we aren't supposed to look past the next game, but just looking at the returning lettermen on the 2015 team, it looks like a fair number of them are underclassmen.  So forgive me my optimism for 2016 season.  And btw, I believe this sets the all time record for premature playoff talk.

Yesterday we were 5 weeks away from Luther opening up the 2015 season.

Today we are 5 weeks away from BVU, Central, Coe, Dubuque, Loras, Simpson, Wartburg opening up their 2015 seasons!

Dubuque reports to camp Aug. 13th.  I would think most other schools report right about the same time.

Hooray for today!!!
