Nothing intended ....just looking at history of IIAC........has Wartburg ever played in a Bowl game?

Don,t be too touchy if not.  They have done well lately if not historically.  Just looking for history.
Not touchy at all, if you were looking at history I believe you could or did find the answer yourself.  I didn't know the last time central was in a "bowl game" off the top of my head.

Off the top of my head Central won the national title in 1974 and finished 2nd in 1984 and 1988.  They may have played in other bowl games, but I remember those three Stagg Bowl appearances.

The Norse also have the 1950s Corn Bowl win over Western Illinois and the Stagg Bowl loss in the early 1970s back when Edsel Schweizer had a very good football program.

Great looking facility.

Reminds me a lot of the Minnesota's indoor facility that Bethel's used for practices when the weather get's really cold during the playoffs. Rare for a D3 school to have that kind of set up.

I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

$29 to read?  I don't think so.

It's also only a paragraph on each. Obviously better than something like sporting news, but definitely not great.

? Didn't cost me anything for a quick read. I would still advise everyone to spend just $11 & get Kickoff-well worth it!

I was assuming he didn't have a register subscription. But then, I thought you got a certain number of free articles

WCF Courier LC preview

"The Norse will have to replace nearly their entire offensive backfield, including leading rusher Josh Vos. But Christian Moore returns after rushing for 397 yards, and the group is bolstered by the return of slot backs Jeremy Redmond and Tim Ostby. Redmond (broken leg) and Ostby (ACL) missed most of the 2014 season.

The Norse also need a new quarterback to take over for two-year starter J.J. Sirios."
