Is spurrier jr. pursuing a career in coaching, and tracking towards a head coach someday?  Or is this something he is doing while pursing a masters?  Or something he does on the side while in another outside career?  Inquiring minds  ;)

While the Dubuque guys have been working on the play-offs and rankings, I have been working on how Central will beat them Saturday.  I don't have it all worked out just yet, but I'm thinking it will involve an impressive performance by one or both of the improving young Central running backs.

My wife, the former babysitter to a certain Central receiver, will wave hello to him during the game.  This will cause him to see her waving and thus drop a sure touchdown pass.  There will be much rejoicing on the UD sideline as the Spartans then roll to victory over the Dutch  ;)

Dubuque beat Central 38-16
Central scored 10 points on their 1st two drives. Then didn't score again until there was 0:00 left on the clock. Central called time outs with 12 seconds left and 4 seconds left to get that last TD.
Oh well, I guess.
Dubuque finishes 7-0 conference play and waits for tomorrow to find out their playoff opponent.

Congrats to Stan Z, Mike Durnin, ect coaches .....AND DOOLITTLE  DOG for being so
