For P.H.  Invincibility is a mindset.

Try telling that to the president of Occidental...

Coach Finstock - "There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that and everything else is cream cheese."

Wartburg fans are silent during Luther week? Worried about a potential losing streak to the Norse?  ;D

The only worry may be from the nausuea induced by that butt-ugly blue field...

Kick off moved up.

Due to weather concerns, the kickoff for the Wartburg at Luther game has been moved up to noon.

If the game is anything like the last time the Knights visited LC the game will be out of hand by 1pm. ;D

Go Knights!
Aaron Kampman on Coach Ed Thomas
I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

I'm not worried. Their other 3 losses from last season were avenged with an average scoring margin of 24.7. I don't mean to be "that guy" during "rivalry week," but Luther was never a big game for us when I played. Central, yeah, that's a rivalry. Coe & Dubuque? Yeah, we got a little more jacked for those games than the other ones. Luther? Only the older alumni cared about that game.

Careful...current players think of YOU as "older alumni"  ;D

Old Dutch

Bye week for my team, wife's working, what to do, what to do, what to do?  Iowa, ISU and Wiscy all play at 11.  Cubs are done, the W flag is back on the shelf, don't need to mow.  Could watch all 4 IIAC games intermitently, but I don't have that kind of attention span.  There is something to be said for a bar that can pour a Guinness correctly, (hope she's not looking over my shoulder, I could end up with a honey-do list.) ::)

Good luck to all the teams I picked this week!  Loras, Warty, BVU and DBQ
