Great game Central!  We took each other to the brink, congrats on the little bit extra that you had! you played terrific and deserved to win.  Heartbroken for my guys, but enjoyed the game, outside of the last play.

It was going to be a heartbreaking loss for either of us. Awesome team you have at Wheaton. I said you were capable of winning it all and I still think that. Tremendous effort by both teams. Just glad we had the ball last!

Very impressive win for the Dutch.  It reminds me of their end of game win over the Knights a couple years ago. 

Now, take it to Whitewater for a change!  I'm sick of having the ARC team lose to UWW, and I think Central has the moxie to do it.

We went there in '88 and won with a receiver turned QB, so we are way ahead of where we were then. I did not want to play Wheaton again, but we knew what to expect this time and they still gave us more than we wanted! What an amazing game. Lived up to its billing.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! What a game! Didn't get my 41 points, but nailed the 28 for Wheaton. Quite a turnaround from 2 years ago. Ryan made a pretty accurate prediction. Didn't get my point spread, but won the game. Still worth $100. It will be coming Pat!

Congratulations to Central on their win!  I listened to the first 3 quarters and then turned it off as the NCC-UWL game pulled within 1 score.  I hope the game is still available online as I would love to watch it in its entirety. 

Schipper, I would like to propose a modification to our bet.  I'll cover the $100 to D3 if you are willing to supply my friends and I with homemade Dutch letters at the championship game if Central and North Central make it there.  Deal?

For what it's worth, I predict the Dutch will prevail.  That big win over Bethel was impressive!  I also think St. John's will lose to Linfield today.  You heard it here first...

Thanks USee. Too bad one team had to lose. Wheaton was everything they were billed to be. 8 yards rushing! Wow. You were right about the Wheaton defense. Lost two starters to injury for the offense today. Very thankful to come away with a win.

Do what you can to warm up that forecast and tone down the wind. It was a really gusty day in Pella today. Had us worried before the game given our offensive strength vs Wheaton's. That last drive for Central the wind was gusting like crazy. Two fourth and long situations and a final 6 seconds to score. Still can't stop reliving the excitement. We actually had 4 offensive players injured today. Hoping maybe Knaack isn't too bad. He was hopping around with his crutches in the air on that last play of the game. Not serious or adrenaline? Time will tell. Really will be missing Logan Mont and Noah Treimer if Knaack and Hopp are out.

If you get 11 mph wind, consider it a blessing. Usually 15-20, sometimes higher at the Perk. Sorry to hear about your injuries. Hope your guys heal up.  Saturday is going to be another physical game.
