That game definitely lived up to the hype.  I thought it was going to get ugly in the second half, but SJU battled back into it.

It was great to share a few beers with Wartknight and son as well as Logan Hansen. Even got to knock one back with Pat Coleman!  Good company--I hope you guys enjoyed your time at SJU.

Just stopping over from the NACC boards to say congrats to Wartburg on taking down St. John's! As an Aurora supporter, I know that is no easy task. Exciting game for Wartburg yesterday and hopefully the past few years of success will get the ARC some national respect.  Big game coming next week as this is the first quarterfinal an ARC team has hosted since 1997 when Simpson made a semi-final run.  Should be a nice day in Waverly next Saturday so if any ARC fans want to come to the game, we could use the support.

Now that these two lower ranked teams knocked out the WIAC in the first round and went on to a quarterfinal pairing can we please get past having 5 WIAC teams in the top 25? Maybe get better first round pairing? Though what are they going to do give us Wheaton or North Central?

Tough hard hitting game. I agree, it appeared the Knights were in control up 3 scores & forcing a punt. The roughing the punter switched momentum to SJU & they capitalized, as good teams often do. Kudos to the Knight d for pitching a shutout in the 4th, not an easy task against the Johnnies. Thank you to the O for having one final push; less stressful ending the game in the victory formation.

Aurora next. Happy for the Knights hosting a regional final & early forecast is pretty decent. Again, Wart d will need to tackle & run to the ball.
