Most of the other schools broadcasts I have listened to have had students doing the broadcasts.

Which schools would those be?  Last I knew, things kind of broke down like this:
BV - Games carried on student station, but professional radio guy (PRG) calls them.  I know for basketball they'll put the student station's video feed online.
Central - PRGs do football, basketball, and some baseball/softball on local station.
Coe - PRG calls games on KMRY AM.
Cornell - Last I heard, they did have students doing the games on the campus station.  And they were BAD!
Dubuque - Games online.  PRG on the call.
Loras - PRG does football/basketball on local station and online.  Student TV station broadcasts also put online.
Luther - PRG does games on student station and online.  Students provide color/sideline reports.
Simpson - Not sure.
Wartburg - PRG does games on student station, local station, and online.  Students used to do color, but haven't since 2002.  I know the Wartburg student TV station now streams online, so if they do a live game this year, that will be available online.

Keep in mind, this list is just for football.  Things are different for basketball (more students involved).

Being kind of generous to call some of our former on-air talent "PRG" aren't you?
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

I was going by basketball memory.  I've only listened to the Dubuque feed for football.  For basketball I usually listen to the home teams broadcast and from what I remember from last year it was usually students.  But then again my memory is usually pretty bad.

Fair point.

Cornell doesn't have the student radio station doing any football.  I checked with the SID last year and he said they couldn't get any students willing to step up to commit to it

Maybe the new SID will give it another shot.

BV also streams all their broadcasts on line along with the radio station.

SimpsonSID

All Simpson football games are broadcasted on KSTM Radio (88.9 FM) with Jerry Wright and Denny Cron on the call.  The games are streamed at www.redzonemedia.com.  Pregame is set for 10 minutes prior to kickoff.

As far as basketball goes, all conference games will be broadcasted on www.redzonemedia.com.  We plan on doing selected non-conference basketball games.  We have not finalized the on-air lineup.

Turk-See if you can get your buddy Adkins on here. I'd like to get his input on a few things.

Charlie, or some other Coe fan, can you drop the link for Coe broadcasts into a post for me? Not finding it on the Coe site.

The SID is currently redoing the website where it used to be.  The link should be up later this week before Saturday's game.

OK.

They should use their D3Scoreboard.com login to put links up, then. I'm mass-collecting links this week for them to add in bulk but I have to cut that loose at the end of the day.

I'm one of those people who likes to listen to a game on the radio as I'm watching it.  Can IIAC football fans tell me if their local radio station will broadcast their games and what their frequency these broadcasts will be on.  AM or FM and where  on the radio dial.  Be nice to know .. ads a certain flavor to the game.  My thanks in advance!
