So...my take on the next few weeks..

Wartburg has got to win out...if they lose their playoff chances are gone. I just dont see a 2 in region loss team making it this year with the way that last year played out with the 9-1 teams not making it in in some places. If Wartburg stumbles they are done on the 10th although the way they played today I wouldnt expect that the next 2 weeks.

Central wins out for another Conference Championship...beats Cornell and loses to Wartburg to share the title and most likely get a Pool C bid in my opinion. I guarantee the Dutch wont be looking past Cornell by any means and it will most likely not be a good week to be playing in Pella next Saturday...Central will leave no doubt...as coco would say!

It would be great if Central and Wartburg both get in but that would mean my Dutch would have to lose and hope for a Pool C bid so well have to see. The season is playing out to be quite exciting!

Hats off to a great Dubuque team today...although they did show the side Ive come to expect in the 2 personal foul penalties on one drive. They have done great things over the last few years...I expect them to finish 8-2 with losses coming to Central and Wartburg...not too shabby.

Congrats to all the IIAC winners today, hopefully evryone made it through injury free!

DutchHawk...  Wartburg doesn't have to win out...  They could lose to Simpson, then beat Cornell and Central and be IIAC champs.  They would own the tiebreaker over Central by winning head to head.

I think it is true to say that if Wartburg loses to Central they are out.

The only way the IIAC gets two teams in the playoffs is for Wartburg to win out, and Central to lose only to Wartburg.  Wartburg really messed things up for the confernence by losing to Augsburg.

UUUGGGHHHH    tough one to drop today .... hats off to the dutch, they just seem to find a way to get the W each week.

I'm hoping we can get things back on track and get the W against that tough Loras D.    What happened in Storm Lake today?  Also, I heard Brock Hall is done for the year after having some sort of surgery this week .... can anyone shed some light on this
