Just got in from mowing...didn't help UD at all.

Sounds like it is BV up 35 - 14 with about 3 minutes left

What up with that ? I've picked UD all year except when they played the Knights and the Dutch.

Apparently that long bus ride over to Storm Lake took something out of them ;D

Well, they won't improve their conference record from last season.  But with a win next weekend over Luther they can improve their overall record.  Either way Dubuque now has a winning record for 2 consecutive seasons for the first time since 79-80.

Congrats on getting 7 points today, thanks for not messing up WB's avg for pts given up.

I'm tired of the yordi talk/rumors/speculation.
If he plays next week, great.   If not, WB will still find a way to win.
My prediction is that WB  will end  up +2 on the turnover margin and when that happens, you win 80% of the time.  Central won't  win by being 1 dimensional by throwing 40-45 times.
From the sounds of things they'll have a real difficult time running on WB.  Combine that with the home field advantage and that = Victory.

I wish I could make it to the game, guess I'll settle for trying to get it online if it's working by then.
WH or Sportsknight, can you work on the IT people there to get things squared away?

Warthog, I don't even remember what incident you're talking about before the Simpson game way back when. However, I do  remember it being about 65 and sunny for their homecoming  while watching wheels and rausch light up the storm secondary.

Gameday had a story on this morning about Linfield.  There are 4 brothers on the team currently and their dad is an assistant coach.  Their Grandfather is Harlem Globetrotter great Meadowlark Lemon.

Lookout, 1st time this year where Hawks and Clones win on the same day.

My son played for the Knights and graduated last year and he always said that UD scared him (maybe scared is the wrong word) I really do believe that they are about to turn the corner. They just did some discipline.

Looks like Wartburg did enough to day to get the job done. Cornell didnt look good at all and the Knights seemed flat at times. Suckow came out after the first play on a run with a tweaked ankle and didnt go in the rest of the game although that is definitely the right move, they didnt need him today at all. Van Rees saw limited action, he isnt the runner Hammes was by any means. Phalen looked to play alright although its tough to judge against the competition. Wartburg worked with a short field on most of their scores which was beneficial as Cornell couldnt punt to save their lives. They also threatened twice in the first half and couldnt finish those drives either. Should be a good game next week. Central averages almost 40 points per game and Wartburg gives up 7...somethings gotta give!

Devine you calm down...were on here to speculate and all and you would be doing the same thing if it was a Central player! haha If he plays next week it will look very suspicious in my book. Didnt see him on the sidelines today but also dont know what he looks like.
