I wasn't disputing that. Although its only 6-4.
Only 1 time have you beat us in Waverly in the last 10 years though. Don't make it sound like its been a series that you've dominated. Its 5-5 over the last 10 years and soon to be 6-4 in favor of the Knights after Saturday.

Fair enough, but playing at your namesake isn't as intimidating as the Knight faithful thought it used to be. Another Central win Saturday will prove that!
30 IIAC Championships
20 Division III Playoff Appearances

Coe jokes...You forgott the best one...If you can go to college go to COE...If you cant go to college go to COE...

I love when people try to make a joke, but then they screw it up.

This is to all the Loras fan, I talked to a few of the Coe coaches afterwards and they told me Hall had a Falcons scout at their Wartburg game .... can anyone from Loras speculate more into this .... Also, how much did that effect the team not having him in their lineup?

Also, whats the best way to get to Pella from Madison ... Think this is a road trip worth making! ;D

Congrats to the KoHawks on a GREAT win this weekend!

You come to Wartburg to play for championships

There's no denying(as much as I'd love too)  that Central has been the cream of the crop of the IIAC over the last 30-40 yrs +

However, it's nice too see the Knights holding up  their share of conference titles over the past 10 years.

It's obvious that it   has become pretty competitive the past decade between my knights and the dutch as to who claims the crown.

I can only lay claim to one of those in my 3 years there and felt like I could have been part of 3, but it didn't end up that way. It is nice to say that Central is the only team I ever lost to in the IIAC.

Wow, been out for a couple days, thought I had something to say, but after catching up, I think this is a good week to sit in the back seat and enjoy. I'll grade the smack-off winners.

Central is #4 now. Not too shabby.

Wartburg is ranked #12. I'd love to be able to see that game next Saturday.
Two words:  THE STREAK

Thunderbolt

Coe fans better pick it up. The Monty Python links could bury you.

Only 3 devine...you transferred right? No redshirt the first year?

I love that it comes down to Central and Wartburg. If it was up to me thats the way it should be every year! :) No offense the other IIAC teams I just think the Wartburg/Central rivalry if you want to call it that is one of the most exciting games every year. I added up the win/loss column for the last 9 years off d3.com and they are seperated by just a couple wins. Thats not too shabby considering the 5-5 year!

I know not a lot of people care about the Coe-Cornell game this weekend because the conference title is on the line.  But this is the longest running rivarly west of the mississippi in the U.S.  Sorry to say but Cornell will not get their first conference win on the last week of the year.

Pfft. We'll stick with game film and leave the flying circuses to the Shams.
4 IIAC football championships
8 NCAA football playoff appearances
13 straight wins over Cornell in the oldest football rivalry west of the Mississippi

Purple....The Coe jokes are funny and smack talk is great....Please win a conference game before you start Coe

Um...no.

How do you get a Coe College graduate off your front porch?

Pay him for the pizza.
You can't leave me....all the plants will die.

Purple Heys

When I was flying back from a Ram game earlier this year I happened to sit next to a Coe graduate.

Halfway through the flight I said, "Hey, you must be a graduate of Coe College."

The other passenger says, "Why, yes I am. How could you tell? Was it my wit, my sophistication, my savoir faire?"

I said, "Nope. I saw your class ring while you were picking your nose."

That wasn't a class ring it was any one of the three conference championship rings we have gotten in the past 5 years that Cornell hasn't even been close to acheiving  :)

Purple Heys

What did the Coe grad say to the Cornell grad?

"Welcome to McDonalds. May I take your order please?"
