We're ready to face the IIAC slow, corn fed, stumbling galoots.  SJU's speed will be a huge factor on the turf.  I still can't believe BV beat Bethel and I still can't believe we lost to them.

Chewy...The last time I checked the southern half of MN looks the same as the northern part of IA.  Corn and bean fields.

I went to school in MN for a short time and realized how ignorant, self centered, and absoultley ridiculas the MN people were.  I love your state and people north of Nisswa, but the rest of you are a bunch of wack jobs.

I had more friends from MN who grew up on farms and raised pigs than I did growing up in IA.  Grab a clue...In the words of a very famous man...Chewy: You aint tough and you aint cool.

Well, I'm from Western ND so that's an entirely different kind of topography.  We in MN are better.  It's because we have the Twin Cities; didn't you know that?  The first thing my daughter is going to learn in preschool is what IOWA stands for.  I got to love the smack.

That is funny because that was the only thing that they kept saying.  We have the Twin Cities.  What is so great about the Twin Cities.  High murder rates?

You got it.  They don't call it murderopolis for nothing.

Thats funny.  I vacation ever year in Northern MN and love watching WCCO News and hearing about all the murders.  I guess I do not have much room to talk.  I now live in Chicago

I can't believe how much posting is going on with the IIAC page (which, by the way, does not sound as good as MIAC when you say it).  This is seriously better banter than Bethel or St. Olaf week was for us...certainly more fun, at least.

All this here jawin' 'bout pigs and such is making me a bits nervous for my fellow Johnnies making the trip down thar to Ioway.

The Chicago way is gentrification.  Move the ones we do not want out to make room for new condos and people moving back in from the burbs, while pushing them to where ever else they can find a home, like Minneapolis.

Oz..If you do not watch it Dutch Nation will have the boys lined up on the main drag of Pella when you pull in holding signs that say "You got a purdy mouth, and some old boys playing the banjo".

Former two-time IIAC MVP Fred Jackson just had a 16-yard kickoff return for Buffalo. Hopefully he'll see some snaps from the backfield as the game is a blowout at halftime.

The best team that I remember from Central was the 2000 team.  The d-line was big and fast and mean.  I'd be surprise if this year's team compares to that one.  All of our playoff games that year were tough.  The semi-final against Hardin-Simmons was actually a relief compared to the teams SJU played before.  What ever happened to that head coach (Coach K[some Polish name that I won't even try to spell]) and why did he leave?  He seemed to be doing a good job there.

I heard he left because he was scared to run into SJU again.   :o

The Show

Coe got mentioned a little bit ago as Jackson got a reception for 7 yards.

Maybe I'm just not very nice, but I wouldn't mind seeing Brady breaking his arm or leg (nothing vital) while he's still in there throwing the ball and up 35.

Fred Jackson's final line in his second game on the Bills' active roster: 3 carries for 15 yards, 2 receptions for 9 yards and 1 kickoff return for 16 yards. He saw extended action as an upback on the kick return team as the Patriots scored 8 touchdowns.
