Soprting goods? Can you buy the new Nike wooden Shox there?

I just couldn't stop myself. Sorry
Not sure about the Shox, but I think the running shoes are made of pine...its a little softer then oak or walnut.

But if you run really fast is there a fire hazard? A new way to smoke somebody in the 100?

why did the Dutch wear wooden shoes anyway? I went to Central but I wasn't a Van or a Vander...

Been having computer troubles so I haven't been able to get on here a lot lately but I just wanted to take the time and wish the Dutch good luck tomorrow. I look forward to the trip to Pella and watching the you guys take it to them. Go Dutch!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I am one of the very few who is actually working today, the day after Thanksgiving and a Friday! This guy is not the world's happiest about it. In my opinion, no person should ever have to work when there is college football scheduled for the daytime. Yeah corporate world!

I'm sure the Johnnies will bring a good crowd down, I hope we have a good one as well. With Thanksgiving break the students are all gone, but they usually only show when it's 65 and sunny when they are on campus and don't seem very interested. The BKE's no longer keep them into it and the atmosphere gets pretty sad at times. Also, that "pep band" needs to go. They try their best, but honestly it's pretty embarassing. Music over the PA would be much, much better. I don't know how AD the AD would feel about that though.

The Thanksgiving weekend actually works in St. John's favor again.... after sitting around the past two days Johnnie fans of all ages are fired up to get on down the road and lay siege to Pella.

Dutch students on the other hand are dreading going back to school and certainly won't show up a minute early to resume the remainder of their semester.

Wow, unlike the folks at D3, the gang at www.johnniefootball.com is decisive in their pick.

Johnnies in a stomp.

Airborne - Another thank you to you and your fellow troops. I was in the Army also many moons ago, my brother was in the 82nd for a while as well. My sons were/are Marines so they only have 6/7 month tours in Iraq. Be safe.

I will be leaving the country for a week and  will not have access to check on how the IIAC will be faring tomorrow.  All I can say is I hope the Dutch put the Johnnies in the oven and close the lid.

BTW...Nice pic of Connells tat in the DM Reg today.

Dusty-
I was surprised the unbiased contributors to johnniefootball.com all picked the Johnnies to win.  At the same time, the very red tinted glasses of D3football picked the Dutch....maybe you and the Johnnie faithful just didn't like D3's picks?????????

Pat Coleman

Nah, that can't be it. Makes too much sense. :)

And now it is 3 hours until kickoff.  Go Dutch and I hope the weather cooperates.  It is sunny here in eastern Iowa but I have no idea how cold it is outside.  I haven't been brave enough to venture out yet!!!
