DF2004: KR was in Ohio for Thanksgiving with his family hence his absence from Pella on Saturday.  Rest assured, you have myself and KR on the Central bandwagon as our distain for the Bethel Royals runs deep.  BTW: I'd be remiss if I didn't say that "Junior" played a fantastic game on Saturday.  Congratulations sir.  If you Central folk want a gameplan to beat Bethel, TDT will be available for questions.

TDT,

Is this how you pay for that sweet condo?  Giving the opposition advice on winning a game?  Thanks for the kind words too.  He has worked on getting better.  His older brother doesn't like playing xbox football with him any more as he reads the D's to good.   ;D

Careful, 'rex. Bringing up historical performances is worthless, remember? ;)

Mr. Shoes that is a very good point!

TDT, where were you with the game plan that would beat the Royals when it mattered in Arden Hills??  Er, to many jello shots I guess...

I am the first one to say that both teams were extremely mediocre in the season finale at Bethel.  Really neither team deserved to win and it further proved to me that Bethel is not an elite caliber team.  Thanks for playing sir.  We've missed you like a case of the clap....

They pay well to see you to keep your clothes on??  ;)

Missed you on Saturday -- you should make the trip with OAS this weekend.

Maybe if you all went back and read posts after last year's SJU win over Central, you might not be so quick to throw around the accusations about Johnnie fans gloating. Or maybe you could go to the MIAC or SCIAC boards to see how we handled our Monkey Stomp over Redlands. MIAC had three teams in the top 25 at the end of the year by the way for anyone interested.

I'll take the quality of the teams in the Top 25 over the quantity in the Top 25 any day.

The only thing more disappointing than ending the season early is never having the passion to care.

Dutchfan2004,

Your son played a heck of a game Saturday.  Your OC obviously had a great game plan and 10 executed it to perfection.

There are a number of great photos of him at http://www.pictureprints.net/albums.php?gallery=1956

Thats funny stuff. I think this would be a great time for the IIAC and MIAC powers to be, to get together and simplify their non- conference scheduling. A MIAC- IIAC challenge the first week of every season would be a great kickoff.

For me personally, I just don't like the WIAC.  Public schools with 6,000-12,000 enrollments should be Div. II in my opinion...

This UW thing has always been a headscratcher to me, too.  But waddya gonna do?

I like the idea of an annual "Border War" with the IIAC and the MIAC.  Those kinds of things help expand a conferences recruiting base...although that goes both ways.  If it weren't for the unrealistic expense, I'd like to see an IIAC vs. SCIAC  faceoff...then we could get tapping into that SoCal talent base with the promise of a SoCal trip to recruits every other year.  8)

Work with me here...I'm thinking of literary opportunity of Luther and LaVerne or the Storm and the Stags or the Beavers and the Bulldogs, the Knights and the Kingsmen.  'hawks (Du or Ko) vs. 'hens (Sage); Wartburg and Whittier.

Is it just me?  :D

IIAC/MIAC Border War....Great idea
