Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

So high-fiveing and celebrating a game clinching pick 6 is not appropriate.  Obviously you have never coached the game of football if you are making comments like this.  Football is an emotional game for the players and the coaches.

Congrats Bethel and good luck next week.  MUC has been beat before and nothing says it cannot happen again next week.

I agree it is now time for the non-Bethel MIAC backers to please leave the IIAC board.  We will see you all again come playoff time next year.

Gents, I'm going to bed. Work calls in 5 hours.

Update from Cedar Falls.

Delaware 32  UNI 27 with 5:12 left in the game.

UNI needs to win for football season to continue in the state of Iowa, otherwise it will be a very long winter of hoops.

Congrats to Central on a fine season. You made it to the last eight teams. Considering my skepticism of some of the East/South teams, you may be better than even that. Bethel - Hold up the standards of the MIAC next week, and beyond if possible. One of the last four teams standing. Good JOB!

Dutchclone,

Obviously I never have ;) ;)  The rule book is explicit on this topic and I guarantee the NCAA rep will discuss this with the representatives from Bethel.

Tough way to end the season for the dutch, but 12 wins including a stomp over St. John's in the playoffs will give them some solid momentum for 2008.  I hope everybody gets home safe tonight.  It's pretty difficult just moving a few miles around the cities right now.

great broadcast Pat, I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Thanks for coming to Iowa.

Way to go Dutch, two playoff wins is big!

good luck to Freddie tomorrow!

Go Kohawks!
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

The d3 broadcast was excellent to listen to.  I was having trouble tuning the radio in and went to the d3 broadcast.  It was crisp and clear, and the announcers knew what they were talking about.  Hopefully next time Pat or Kieth or Adam or whoever comes to Iowa the weather will be better for them.

Great season Dutch!!!!!

NOthing wrong with getting excited in the box. I don't know a coaching staff that doesn't get loud in the box. That is why they all have their own booth.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

OK, now that the IIAC season is done, I predict the Wartburg Knights will be the 2008 IIAC football champions.

Great season, Bethel.  You definitely proved that you knew how to play on days like today.  Hopefully this serves as a learning experience for Central, and days like today won't be such a scary thing in the future.

Sorry fellow IIAC fans for not carrying the torch further for us.  It sure sounded like the Dutch gave it all they could, and fell to the better team.

Back to business...you know...like making fun of Wartburg Fan's kid for never playing a playoff game in his career (j/k).

Time to re-load, Dutch!

Congrats to Central on its season. I have few doubts more playoff appearances are aahead for this program.

Moving on to the Wartburg peanut gallery: since Walton Hoover was so eager to speculate on SJU's supposed position in the IIAC, where would he put Bethel?  (No offense intended for the Central crowd ....)
