Sportsknight talked to my daughter-in-law last night and she told all about you. Shame on you (just Joking) She had nothing but good thing to said about you and that you were in alot of her classes. the only thing she said was " what's up with announcing game for Central" again just joking.

This coming from the girl that was cashing a Simpson paycheck there for awhile? 

Only for  a short period of time and then she got her sense's back and went back to the Burg and cash their paycheck.

You know it was only teasing,that girl won't say anything bad about anyone

Listening to some of the Bethel/MU game... I'm afraid the Dutch might have suffered a similar fate out there. This Mount Union team sounds virtually unstoppable. Pick your poison with that team, yikes!

Watching the internet feed of the BU vs Mount game.  The feed is very good.  Bethel's offense does not look good against Mount.  The power running game that worked in the snow storm isn't working at all on a dry field.  Not saying Central would win, but I think they match up better against Mount Union than Bethel does.  Their D doesn't look as good either.  Mount just scored, and I counted 3 missed tackles on the play.

wow, 3rd consecutive yr that Mt plays Wis W-W.. that's impressive. 
What's sick is the fact that Mt has won 8 of the past 11 Stagg Bowls, that's just not right.

In the D2 world, almost exact same situation. 
NW MO is playing Grand Valley St for the 3rd consecutive year as well.
NW lost by 4 & 7 pts the last two years to them in the Nat'l Championship game, and tonight they are hosting them in the semi's and just went ahead 34-17.
The windchill is 4, probably slightly colder than the Central-Bethel game

Did anyone else experience an empty void today with no college football on TV other than the D2 game I'm watching right now?  It was a long day of actually trying to be productive. 

I watched App St last night as well, their QB rushed for 315 yds.  It was like watching Michael Vick on a video game before he was playing prison ball.   

Just realized there is a lot of similarities going on in the playoffs.
Mt Union going for 3rd consectuive title,  App st going for 3rd straight,  Grand Valley was going for their 3rd but got beat tonight. nice 40 game winning streak snapped.

It's a shame that every college team sport in this country has a playoff format except D1 football

After reviewing the cost of BVU I found it to have drastically increased since I left these hallowed halls.  How does the rest of the conf stack up?  Is anyone higher than this. 

I guess now I understand how I racked up so much debt for falling off barstools 5 nights a week.

Listened to part of the Aztec Bowl last night.  USA won 37-19 ... UD's Jermar Jackson had two TD passes and was named MVP.  Luther's Tyler Sherdan scored one TD and Central's Guy Dierikx had a fumble recovery and an interception.  Good play by IIAC guys.

Edit:  It would be interesting to see what tuition + room & board was for others on this board when they were in school.  While I was at UD it went from 7,800 up to 12,000.  But I was almost on the Sen. Blutarskey time plan for college...I took my time getting through school!!!  It would be fun to hear from DBQ1965 as to the costs at UD in the 1960's!!!
