Here's a subject:

You are the football coach at your fave IIAC team.

What do you want for Christmas?

Luther fans; We just want one.

Man alive, take a couple weeks off and totally forget how this works. Last time I was here, the Dutch could roll come wind or rain or snow or dark of night. I was happy to hop on the bandwagon, and they had a great season. I have the utmost respect for the coaches and players for what they accomplished. I also hope some day I can gloat about my son playing ball in December.
A couple other unsolicited observations; You guys are way to concerned about karma, Doolittle has to much fun at work, and Heys and Charlie stay up to late at night.

And, in the words of Bill Clinton, I did not spend $5.00 to get into one of those places in East Dubuque.

Yes ... there were places for the "dancing arts" in East Dubuque way back then.  I think most UD - Loras - Clarke students went to Wisconsin however ... where the drinking age was 18.  In those days (and maybe still now) Iowa had State Liquor Stores which was the only place where you could buy the hard stuff and all you could get in a bar/tavern was beer ... unless you joined one which was a club.

On another note ... if I was the UD coach ... for Christmas I would want .... one QB, two RBs, 3 LB's, 4 defensive linemen, 5 offensive linemen ... well ... you get the idea.  And instead of a partridge in a pear tree ... how about a IIAC Champship.
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

If I were at Wartburg, I would want a stud RB, a Stud, OT, and a stud DT. You can build the rest of the team off that.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

I was going to say something profound, but decided to defer to the shaker palace talk and just move one step closer to +k. ;D

okay daddy i will give the advise that the johnnies gave me.  go to a board who does not have any idea who you are post the remaining 12 posts a bunch of stupid and unfounded statements to stir the pot and get to the wondeful world of +k.

I would, but it's not like me to stir things up.  ::)

As a Christmas gift to football daddy, I am going to make it my personal mission to get him back to +k and get him to 200 posts by the end of the day.
So to start off-
Footballdaddy. Who is your favorite football player of all time?

I'm in the wrong business.

It is reported that Nebraska paid $75K to a search company to help them hire Bo P. Why if you have 2 favorites for the job why spend the money?

HEY Luther call me I'll find some to take the job.
Aaron Kampman on Coach Ed Thomas
I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the effort WH. I've been down so long it looks like up to me.

Not counting my son who I could watch all day every day.

Joe Montana. Give him 2 minutes and a time out and he'd cut your heart out.
