Been trying to stay current with the blogs but get lost the in the movie discussion.

Just for you information......Luther will announce it's selection for head football coach at a press conference on Monday morning at 9 AM.

That should give you plenty of time to get leaked info and then tell us all about it on here!!!

I agree with you doolittle, maybe Floyd knows by now.  He has his pulse on the Norseman.

daddy +k to you.  You are almost back up at even karma, welcome to the club.

My favorite movie of all time is what I about my dream job.  Backdraf.  Being a Chicago Fire Fighter.  The moive is priceless in my opinion.

My favorite football player...My favorite football players are two guys that most would laugh at.  Drew Bledsoe and Gregg Llyod.  Bledsoe is why I became a Pats fan and Llyod is what made he want to the be the linebacker I never became.

Your experience with "Waiting To Exhale" is a perfect example of how UD cultivates the 'Renaissance ideal" in its graduates.  We are the better for it.

If you are a father, and you DON'T cry at the end of Field of Dreams, you should have your cold, black  heart examined. Otherwise, if there aren't farts, car chases, big boobs, or explosions, don't watch it.

Klop, thanks for the +k. I'm almost over the Mendoza line. I won't even comment on your being a Pats fan.

I wonder how these guys are picked, must be some coaches or AD ratings involved?  so much for any complaining then about our IIAC officials and congrats to this crew!  Represent.

Idle minds and idle chatter, For Christmas I want a Stagg Bowl rep from the IIAC so the game really matters!  Looking forward to watching it though, anyone picking scores?  I'll go Mount in a tight one, 35-28.  I think UWW seniors have an impact form being frustrated in previous games.  I know that linebacker Raebel is a monster, had his way with the Dutch two years ago.

Favorite player of all time is Sweetness, Walter Payton.   #34 was just plain fun to watch and a great gentleman.  Being a Bears fan its hard to admit, but Favre is amazing, maybe not one of the best QBs on the level with Montana and Tark, but another fun to watch competitor.  If anyone saw the 60 Minutes piece on LaDamien T.  last week, he's rapidly moving up my list, sounds like the kind of role model we'd want our kids' heros to be.

The knee injury that Greg Lloyd suffered in the mid-1990s will perhaps keep him out of the Hall of Fame (unlike Rod Woodson, Dermonti Dawson, and some of the others Steeler players of his era), but he was my favorite LB to watch from that era as well.  I know my brother has held on to his "Avoid Lloyd" shirt and may even have a Lloyd jersey as well.

The Steelers have had lots of great defenses and especially stud LBs over the years (Ham, Lambert, Russell, etc.), but I liked Jack Lambert and Lloyd better than the rest.  My 3rd favorite Steeler LB may be either Jack Ham or Mike Merriwether, but Mike wasn't as consistent from year to year as Jack Ham was.

Beaver just sealed the deal for WWW on a long run down to the 5 up 24-21
He runs hard and has a great O-line.  Good to see Whitewater win today

It would be pretty hard to swallow losing 3 consecutive championship games to the same team

31 carries, 248 yds, 1 t.. pretty good game

31-21, 4th & goal scores a TD

game over

Floyd in Iowa City

Congrats to Whitewater on beating the D-III empire that is Mount Union!  I thought they played very well on defense most of the game and were the better overall team in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

The weather was a factor, but I thought the Whitewater QB looked more consistent when he dropped back to pass.  Both QBs had a little bit of a problem with happy feet, but I guess it is easy to understand when they are facing the opposite defense.

There was a lot of talent overall on that field today!

I enjoyed this title game the most regardless of D-II, D-III, or I-AA since St. John's beat Mount Union a few years ago.

I wanted to see Whitewater win, but the big thing unlike the 1-AA game last night was that I wanted a good game to watch.  I got what I wanted.

Hopefully the new coach announced on Monday in Decorah has some recent ties to the Whitewater program.

Congrats UWW, Beaver is a heck of a player and that defense made some plays when they needed to... good to see someone else with trophy, let's hope sometime down the road that's an IIAC team we're all watching on ESPN.
