There are those that would have you believe that the "social injustice" expererienced by the Gay community is relatable to the real social injustice suffered by Afican Americans in this country.  It's sad that anyone would entertain such a thought.  Gays have no idea the amount of suffering endured by African Americans.  To me that almost a criminal insult.

my $.02 worth: First off, I don't use spell check on a message board.  I'm going to apologize now for any punctuation, grammar, or any other errors that someone may not tolerate. It pertains not only to this post but any subsequent posts I choose to write.

you mentioned something to the effect of not living in the same country as Walston.  Just so you're aware,  I believe he lives in the Des Moines, IA area. This would qualify him as being in the U.S.A.

interesting footnote  about Billick.  What kind of football player was he?  ok,  stud or a  dud?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say he was at least decent based on how intense of a guy he is. 

I don't really  follow the NBA anymore,  but I  did stumble onto the dunk contest tonight.
Dwight Howard can perform  dunks on a 10' hoop that I couldn't  do on a 7' hoop.

It was funny that they had two non-dunkers, Karl Malone and Magic Johnson as judges with Dr. J., 'Nique, and Chocolate Thunder.  Charles Barkley made note of that.

Maybe they were extra qualified to judge from having spectated the other 3's dunks over their careers.

He was an excellent HS player and went on to play at BYU.
