Hey Devine, you got me curious about Ortberg so I looked up UD track records.  He still holds two UD records.  55meters indoor 6.38 seconds and the 110 high hurdles 14.57 seconds

What I thought was interesting was the oldest UD track record goes all the way back to 1919.  Sol Butler who was on the 1920 Olympic team holds the long jump record at 24ft 9.75 inches.

Sol Butler also had a good football game against BV in 1916.  3 rushes for 195 yds.  Touchdown runs of 35, 65, and 95 yards!!!

I went to HS with Ortberg -- he's always been a stud! I think he still holds several WD track records.

Wow.  I just browsed through the DM Reg this morning, and saw Loras had a student pass away.  Its terrible to see a young person loose their life.

I am not going to let the cat out of the bag, but I can assure you that we got the guy we've been going after the whole time.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

As much as I hate to say this, the anticipation is killing me.

The wrong hire could bring Coe's program down to where it was before Raeburn. The right hire could propel them past the Dutch and the Knights.

What time is the announcement being made?

There's a purple hue in the sky over Cedar Rapids tonight. Thank you all for your concern, but the Kohawks will be just fine. :o

This must mean that its someone with either UWW or Mount Union ties.  Either that or Osterberger is 1/3 the way to coaching every team in the conference.

It could also be Ray Reasland or, perhaps, a certain hot tub designer...

If it was this certain hot tub designer we know from SoCal can you imagine the look on Mrs. Heys face as they flew in for the press conference and she saw that we got 4 inches of snow last night on top of the freezing rain that started yesterday!!!  Put that onto the fact they would have took a pay cut to come here and I bet Purple Heys would have been spending a few nights on the couch!!!

So Zebrowski loses to Raeburn to get the Wabash gig and then takes Raeburns old job...interesting!!!

OK...the bag is open...it's me.

They offered a Hot Tub filled with Crunchberries.

:D

Mrs. Heys was getting tired of the monotony of 70 degree, Sunny days...like today.  Heys III doesn't want the pressure of being able to play baseball outdoors in January.  Plus, Daughter Heys will dominate the IIAC Women's High Jump...having already jumped 5'7" as a Junior in High School.
