That is a nicely done highlight film. I know why Luther doesn't put theirs on youtube or their website. Because it is over an hour long, and not that entertaining. It includes damn near every pass reception and about 200 of Tyler Sheridens best runs. It flips back and forth between games, so by the time you figure out which team is whitch, the play is over and into the next one.

Breitbach's return against Central is amazing

That was a well done video.  I am still amazed every school doesn't have something like that up on their website and on youtube.  Why didn't Coe put the blocked punt on there that Dubuque got late in the game  :P

I think that is supposed to be a UD highlight not a Coe.   ;D

Something tells me I wouldn't be able to take the Central highlights package this year  ;)

That final kick for 3 sure looks nice as it wobbles through the uprights, you sure you wouldn't want to watch that over and over again? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hard to tell from this angle, but I can't imagine the Ref missed this one.  He was right on top of it.

Breitbach's return against Central is amazing

Not a bad video considering what they had to work with (game film and still photos).  It definitely improved once they went away from the "let's show every play from both angles" strategy.

Two other observations:
-  That Breitbach lad is pretty good.  Does he need a job this summer?  I might know a roofing crew that could use a couple extra hands.   ;D

-  I've said it before, and I'll say it again: BV's new yellow pants make me nauseous.  And I'm not a big fan of Coe's all-red look either.

i was also going to mention something about BV's yellow pants.  they kind of look like the 80's chargers, except worse.

if coe would have had it raeburns way all along, from the start, we would have had all black home uni's and all white away unis
the black would have had crimson numbers outlined in gold
and the away unis would have just had crimson numbers, but had crimson or gold stripes down the side, i cant remember for sure.

What are the various readers' preferences for uniforms?  All one color ... contrasting pants and jersey ... pants other than white on the road ... or whatever?  I've always liked home uniforms of white (unless gold  is appropriate for some schools) pants and the contrasting color jersey for home ... all white for the road is a bit cheesy, but then so is colored pants and white jerseys.

LOL -- handsome lad, indeed. I have a single friend that thinks he is cute.....

As far as uniforms are concerned, I prefer contrasting colors....red jersey/white pants, or the opposite. I think all one color gets overwhelming. I don't really even like the all black jerseys out of the 'Berg -- throw some orange back in there.

The one exception? BV -- I don't really dig the yellow pants. Sorry guys.

22 - TD passes for Shawn Tate in 1996 for Dubuque...Dubuque was 1-9 that season.

This is an interesting stat since the Dubuque media guide also says that 21 TD passes is the singe season record at Dubuque set in 1997!!!  Maybe he started the season with Coe and then pulled a Suckow and transferred over to Dubuque 1 game into the season  ;D

I personally think the all black uni is getting cliche. Since Wartburg was originally the Black Knights, and their school colors are black and orange, they have a reason for it. Otherwise, I like staying with the school colors. I also don't mind the colored pants and white jersey look. I know the colored pants are much easier to clean, as anyone who had to wash their high school player's uniform can attest. And BV's yellow pants don't bother me as much as Cornell's white helmets. I prefered the purple ones better.

The all black thing is ok.  I don't like the mono look with other colors for some reason.  I like the reverse thing one color on top and different on the bottoms with other colors.  I guess the all black thing doesn't bother me as this was the home uni for my sons in HS.  No opinion on the yellow for BV.  I think by rule that the visitors must wear the light colored tops.  The dark tops are reserved for the home team.  I think many schools do use white as the basic visitors jersey color unless they have a light color in their school colors. I do not believe there is a rule on the color of pants that a school wears.  That is up to the school.
