Being a former smoker who lives with a smoker, I can see both side of this argument. But, until tobacco is illegal, each business should be able to decide if they want smoking or not. As for outside smoking areas, I'm in favor of them if it will get the crowds of smokers away from the front door. I know my position makes my wife mad, but I only had to get cancer once to make me quit.

As far as bouncing, I'll date myself by saying I used to give Chris Taylor breaks when he used to work the door at Grandaddy's in Ames.

Who will be the lucky poster who puts us over 1000 pages?

I like the new law, but it should allow for limited smoking areas on campus.  The new law won't do anything for college town public relations as far as neighboring homeowners are concerned.  Students who can't smoke on campus, even in limited areas, will now have to walk across the street to someone's personal property to light up.  I bet that goes over well.

'98 was the first year in the conference for Coe and Cornell, so they have been in for a decade now...i'll go ahead and look up how many titles they have won.  Curiosity is getting to me.

Coe has 18 total titles...

6 - mens tennis
3 - football
2 - womens soccer
2 - womens tennis
2 - womens swimming
2 - softball
1 - mens basketball

Cornell has 1 title

1 - womens tennis

if you look back, i informed the board of this, just to let you know

36 - Years legendary Central Coach Ron Schipper coached the Dutch.

One of the truly great men to coach at any level ever.

Smoking is something I'm glad I never started, that, and chewing. I'm quite certain I'd never be able to quuit. Food is my addiction.
I also have an addiction like Will Ferrell in "Blades of Glory" if anyone has seen that  ::) "Its my cross to bear".

As for 1000 pages, I'll give it the old college try.

On a beautiful day like today, I think about golf. Anyone have any favorite courses in Iowa?

Otter Creek and Briarwood are right across the street here in Ankeny so they are a couple of my favorites. Briarwood right now due to the exit ramp off I35 being put in right over top of Otter Creek.
