Okay, not my finest moment, but warthog's post really pissed me off (can I say piss on here, or does that show a lack of "class" too?)  Just kidding...no but seriously does it??  I really had to debate using the A word.  At first I was going to use dollar signs for the S's, but then I thought, hey, if your gonna use the A word you gotta go for the gold.  Warthog...my apologies.  I'm sure you are a good guy.  Maybe you were just projecting a little in your post.

Speaking of my Hawkeyes (guilty -- I've been a fan since birth!) does anyone think we will have enough guys out of jail this season to field a team? Will it be a parole violation for them to all huddle together? Think we'll win any games that count this season?

Man, those are questions you just don't have to ask in D3....

although i am a hawks/cowboys fan.  i have a different alligiance with Coe.  i would take that more personal than a jab at the hawks.
cubs is an entirely different subject  :'(

I'm with you there. I follow the Vikings and the Clones and take lots of crap for each team. No connections (anymore) to either team other than liking to see them do well. Outside of cheering my balls off at the games, I don't feel too incredibly bad when they lose. My Knights however, My A-P Falcons, and My Dowling Maroons football team. When those get brought up, it gets very personal in a hurry. I still fell a deep connection to all of them and like to think I played at least a little part in having the respective programs where they are today.

Love it, I would give karma for that one, but since I can't, I will just laugh and applaud your sense of humor.

I'm with you on this one too.  I got to work today and the office doors were locked.  I was hopeful that they were trying to send a message, but alas I am working.  It is hard to get the mindset right though before a holiday or right after.

The only person actually "working" today in my office is a random Simpson guy. It's really too bad that he's so far behind and can't e-slack like the rest of us. [Insert your favorite Simpson joke here]  ;D

I thought things were surprisingly busy in my office this morning. I snuck in the back door and the 4 of us at the end of the hall are all here getting caught up. I am still in my clothes from the weight room this morning so it is pretty laid back. I did however just walk down to get my mail from the other end of the office and to my surprise, found out we are the only 4 here. So much for it being surprisingly busy.

Hang on a sec, I think it's been almost a month since someone brought up the "What will the conference standings look like this year?" question.  Maybe it's a good time to do that again.  Maybe I will print out each teams schedule, give them all a good look-see and give you my thoughts later tonight.

If you're trying to put the IIAC teams in ABC order, you're way off.

This is easy. It'll go:
Central, Wartburg, UD, Coe, and then everyone else.

;D
