As for the Animal House movie, "CUT THE CAKE" was used by those prankster from KWAR to identify themselves during their appearance in the Luther HC parade.

Watching that movie again made me think of that incident as well.  I could be wrong, but I think we're coming up on the 10th Anniversary this fall.  Everyone loves a parade!

I do believe it was Buddha's senior year so it would 10 this fall. "Sorry to rain on your parade" shirts for EVERYONE.  ;D

I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

The shirts came on Homecoming '99. Featured a Knight "making a tinkle" (sorry, potty training has me in toddler speak right now) on a Norse parade.

i guess no real correlation, besides you could say the defense got worse as the season went along.  offenses do to tend to get better with time (UD's didnt).
what else to you have to do on a friday though.

Good Morning Everybody, Happy Friday !!!

Any other conference ties or anyone going to the Olympics? If you could go what events would you want to attend?

One of the kids who played, and I coached, with Heys Jr. in Little League and Colt League is on the Olympic Baseball Team.

Ding ding ding...we have a winner.

You're offense and defense can get better.  But if you are playing better teams, it might not show up in the points for and points against category's.

The UD/BV game still puzzles me.  BV had trouble scoring all year and then hang 35 on UD.  UD had a pretty potent offense and only gets 14 in Storm Lake???  It wasn't a case of Dubuque giving up when the chips were down.  Dubuque won their next game after each of their 3 losses.  Plus Dubuque came from behind to beat Simpson, Coe and Luther.

My sources tell me that was October 17, 1998, placing the 10th anniversary on the Friday of this year's Homecoming weekend.

Maybe 89.1 could get his former co-worker to make some sort of re-enactment for Kapers or the parade.

Good news WC tailgaters, TODAY they have FINALLY begun construction on the parking lot across 12th street from WH stadium. (The area of the SID former home)

Your offense and defense will get significantly  better when ever you play Rockford and Wisconsin Lutheran back to back.
