Has anyone seen Street and Smith's College Football Preview on the magazine racks yet?

I keep looking around here and nothing has shown up.

My wife stopped letting buy any of those magazines.  Something about, "just be thankfull I let you go to some of the games on saturday" or something like that!!!

Be careful don't upset the wife she may take away your posting privelages and then where would you be? :o :o :o :o

I'd respond with something long here, but I don't have time, I need to get back over to the house and switch out the laundry for her before she gets mad at me  ;D ;D ;D

Ah, football is only a month away!!!  My favorite time of the year!!!

LOL -- I love it!!  ;D

Check it out -- I turn 30 one week, and become an All-Region the next! It's been a good week. ;) Happy Friday all around!

Congrats on the Bday and making all region here is a little K for that.

Oh its all good fun.  Mrs. Klop even likes to weigh in on my purchasing decisions.  We are DINKS...double income/no kids and she still likes to ration like we are preparing for the 100 year flood.  I guess lake Michigan could flood and I guess I will appreciate the money saved when its time to buy a house/retire from this life of working.

You will thank her at some point in time.  You could have a wife that has sent you into BK a couple of times.   :D :D :D

The shirts came on Homecoming '99. Featured a Knight "making a tinkle" (sorry, potty training has me in toddler speak right now) on a Norse parade.

As for the Animal House movie, "CUT THE CAKE" was used by those prankster from KWAR to identify themselves during their appearance in the Luther HC parade.

Watching that movie again made me think of that incident as well.  I could be wrong, but I think we're coming up on the 10th Anniversary this fall.  Everyone loves a parade!

I do believe it was Buddha's senior year so it would 10 this fall. "Sorry to rain on your parade" shirts for EVERYONE.  ;D

My sources tell me that was October 17, 1998, placing the 10th anniversary on the Friday of this year's Homecoming weekend.

Maybe 89.1 could get his former co-worker to make some sort of re-enactment for Kapers or the parade.

Good news WC tailgaters, TODAY they have FINALLY begun construction on the parking lot across 12th street from WH stadium. (The area of the SID former home)

I have been trying to get him and the wife along with former WTV8 anchor Jennifer Livingston and her husband (he's never been to Wartburg but has heard stories) to hit up a homecoming with me.  Maybe this will be the year, unless there is a Polka gig for him.

I'm just excited I don't have to work La Crosse Oktoberfest this year at the TV station or at the bar...this could be NBNA/IBNA (heard stories never made it there) type of drinking.

When the minister said "For better or for worse" ... he couldn't have meant excluding a football magazine preview!

Maybe you could add that little nugget the next time you officiate a wedding!!!

And I suppose it might be closer to reality that my wife said something a little more along the lines of..."do you really need something like that???"  as the 2 of us watched our kids begging for something out of the gumball machine at the grocery store.

Ah the sign of a good parent, denying yourself for the kids.  Good job DD +k for thinking of the kids and not yourself.

Missed the Big Brother when I aired live last night, but just got done watching it on DVR (damn machine just makes me watch more junk I don't need to watch).  Looks like the Wartburg guy Jessie made it through evictions and is back for at least one more week.

Scary insight into your marriage, Doolittle....  ;)

Thanks dutchie...my English fails me once again ;)

Sorry -- I think we posted around the same time. ;) Big plans for your weekend in Des Moines?

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and that is about it.  I will get to spend some  time with my parents which is always good.  Other than that, I really do not have a whole lot on the burner.

I hate to cheer for the guy because he is so cocky and arrogant, not your typical Knight.  But I still gotta pull for him a little bit, plus there really isn't anyone else I like yet.

I knew that was coming....don't worry I held back and didn't say "cocky and arrogant...more like a (insert other IIAC mascot here) instead of a Knight"

Of course the producers of these reality shows do a good job of making the people see and believe what they want them to.
