Also, would the webcast just be from what is being shot by the team? Those are usually a little iffy looking, would we even want to watch that? I guess I'd take anything, but I feel like I'd still have to have the radio broadcast playing.  What audio is Coe using? Thats not too big of a deal, but it would be nice to see a little better quality feed for these games. Maybe I'm spoiled by ESPN :)

I thought I read Coe was going to use the radio broadcast with the video.

du-sz, I assume you are a part of the media and have the critical eye like the rest of us Comm Arts folk and a former techie like AEN.  Sometimes at work I have to take a step back and realize that to the general public they know we are not ESPN, but they are just happy to see their kid on TV.  They don't care if it's a 20 camera shoot with 2 announcers with a side line reporter and instant replay with moving graphics.  Obviously we look to improve our broadcasts at all times, but just getting this stuff on air or on the internet is important at well.

Division II Northern Sun Conference had a deal with a company called Penn Atlantic to provide webcasts of all of the conference games.  Some were one camera up in the rafters while others were multicamera shoots with announcers.  Looks like they have a deal with the Midwest Conference.  It costs $7 a game though to view it.  So I would hope it's more than just one camera up in the pressbox.

I totally see your point, its hard to shake old notions when it comes to that stuff haha.  I'm not expecting anything elaborate obviously but hopefully it looks nice enough for all those parents and fans.  I'm a little bit of a production junkie I can't lie. ;)
Not going to lie...Dewey is a pretty good looking bird/furry beaked body builder.

I've only watched a couple of MWC games, during basketball season, but they were one camera shoots.

Allow me to add that a lot of Central transfers this year are from that very physical SEP program that WH described. Just food for thought.

Shoot for $7 Purple Heys will cough that up over a plane ticket to Iowa any old time won't you?   :D

There is no doubt I would pay $7 per game, two sets of grandparents would pay $7 per game each as well.

I would guess a friend or two would shell that out for a game or two as well.

I would have paid $7 to watch the Central-St. John's game, too.

Right now all I have is him and his friends re-enacting highlights from their dorm on Skype.   ;D

These previews almost seem to be coming out in predicted order of finish.

Central was first, followed by Wartburg and then Coe!!!

Dubuque better come out with theirs fast!!!

I'm almost surprised the IIAC isn't coming out with a conference wide video deal like the Midwest Conference did.  I wonder how many other IIAC schools besides Coe will have that this year?  Wartburg I would  guess.  I would think Luther and BV would also be on the short list.

Cornell's is up...such as it is.  Short and sweet.   ;)

This just in.....Favre traded to the Jets....any opinons or thoughts??
I didn't think it was possible, but this hurts worse than Suckow's departure to Wartburg. I hope the Packer-Jets Super Bowl isn't like last year's Kohawk-Knights game.

sorry Charlie, I wouldn't hold your breath

After I read the release, I thought that after the non-conference and Coe games nothing worth paying attention was going to happen. ;)

You are more IT now right?  Makes sure all the computers work on campus.  Not like in the auditorium days when it was making sure everything looks nice to the eyes.  Like giant freshly painted candles with light switches for CWAISW and crappy looking banners.

Of course the Jet's can only go up from 4-12....although I wouldn't mind seeing a 0-16 season just despite Brett "Paris" Farve.
