Looks like the rest of America hates Wartburg as well.  Big Brother 10 contest Jessie from Rudd, IA got evicted last night after 'America's Player' went with a vote by the viewers to evict him.  I still think the producers did a good job of making him seem arrogant and cocky...although after seeing his interview after he was evicted, they might have been more right on than I thought.

Based on last years record, I predict Loras with 1 conference win

That's between Loras, Luther, or BV. I don't expect to much from Simpson, but I do think they will finish ahead of these teams.

How far Luther will have fallen then from just a few years ago they were the up and coming team in the conference...sort of what UD is now...not sure why you think LC is gonna finish so far down...but fair enough we will just have to wait and see...

Mainly because they hung me out to dry after picking them for the last 3 years to be the breakout team in the conference. Not much more to it than that and wondering what they will do for an offense without Sherdan.

ShowMe, I want to be clear -- I'm not bagging on you. I get that you are excited about the season. It's cool that you have such high expectation and hopes for your team. OK, we've got that -- no one is actively bashing the Rams, though, so this over-the-top Cornell love-fest that you are trying to have on the board is a bit much, even for me. Good luck this season -- I really hope that you are singing the same tune at the end of the season like a true fan.

I'm only supporting my team and I should have the right to do it my way.

I've dealt with the Central chatter for too long without letting it bother me.

And yes, thats why I made the comment that I will eat the crow, probably at the end of the year.

ShowMe....Bring something else to the board other than Cornell propoganda.  I mean come on, you can at least chime in on another topic.  Hearing day after day about how Cornell is going to suprise everyone is getting a bit much.  I am already on record saying that I think Cornell could be the suprise team this year.  I really hope they have great success, it will only make the conference strong.  In regards you putting up with Central talk....no one forced you to read this board.  I am not a Central backer, but they have a proven track record.  I joined the board in order to have more people backing the Beavers.  Give the unadulterated love a rest and let the season's results call the shots. 

i'm just going to go out there and say that yes, cornel could be a suprise team, but i honestly don't see them winning a game again. 

Well lets take a vote then.  If Cornell is the surprise team of the IIAC and they don't win an IIAC game this year and go 0-8 in the conference again that would be a surprise would it not.  I mean three seasons without a conference win.  So that being said how many here vote that showme does not have to eat crow.

Thanks for your kind words Daddy.  The Karma thing does not bother me.  I am here to chat about IIAC/D3 football, have a good time, and to get away from the grind of life.  Karma does not have anything to do with life at all.  If it did TDT on the Minny board would have jumped off a roof some place by now.

Thanks for your kind words Daddy.  The Karma thing does not bother me.  I am here to chat about IIAC/D3 football, have a good time, and to get away from the grind of life.  Karma does not have anything to do with life at all.  If it did TDT on the Minny board would have jumped off a roof some place by now.

Vernon for the Cornell/Central game.  I would offer to buy you a meal at  Chameleans but I bet bleu cheese burger baskets are not on your current diet plan.  How about if Dubuque beats Central this year I will bring a veggie burger and a veggie plate for the tailgate in Mt. Vernon.  If, as expected, Central beats Dubuque for the 21st time in a row.  You bring me a beer at that tailgate!!!

Well I dont know about the menu plan but I can take that offer.  If UD does beat the Dutch this year I would glady buy you a beer or two.  Would love to tailgate with you at Cornell.
