Greetings IIAC football fans!

I've been a lurker for a couple of years, and enjoy the banter!

Posting today for historical purposes only, specifically regarding Nebraska Wesleyan athletic superiority.  Don't know what they've done recently in FB, but Central pasted them 34-8 my senior year and the year after as well.

Also for the identity record, I'm a Central FB alum, & modern day Dutch SuperFan, Class of '84.  Even more, I'm a great believer in Iowa small college education and am proud of the entire IIAC.  (I can say that now that Wm Penn and UIU "done graduated".)

Keep up the good work.

Great first post.  While all of us have our loyalties to certain schools, pretty much all of us are fans of each of the other schools in the IIAC.

Welcome aboard-
A couple ground rules-
1.Take it easy on dutchfan1 since she's a woman and doesn't know much about football  :P
2. Take it easy on me because my posts make sense in my own mind
3. Take it easy on Luther fans because they are, well, Luther fans.

How good are Quick Trip's Jalepeno Cheddar Hot Dogs (2 for $2)?
Discuss this and other convenience store favorites.

I love their old radio commercials about how you can leave it on the car when you drive home and it will still be there when you get there.

I often get the 2 chili cheese dogs pack for $1.49 at Kum & Go.  Along with a 99 cent bag of chips and a Mountain Dew.  Or, at least I did before I started my diet yet again.

As t_m_e says...it's hard to beat a Casey's pizza slice.  When they had their 2 pizza slices and a pop special for 3.99 I often got that as well.  Now, my wife just packs me a pb&j and an apple if I will be out on inspections to keep me away from convenience stores!!!

I often get the 2 chili cheese dogs pack for $1.49 at Kum & Go.  Along with a 99 cent bag of chips and a Mountain Dew.  Or, at least I did before I started my diet yet again.

It's usually Lean Cuisine for me -- after I spend a half hour on the treadmill. Today you guys are making me hungry, though!! I may have to find some real food!!

I was going to quote ShowMe to illustrate my points, but that would have eaten up consierable space.

Show Me, I appreciate your enthusiasm. Your evangelical zeal to promote the Rams would be envied by supportes of any school except for one reason:

Your posts have given every team, especially those who traditionally finish at the top of the conference, literally reams of bulliten board material. Your pronouncements will ensure that NO ONE will overlook the Rams this year. While you may think this is good, all you may be doing is ensuring an unrelenting monkey stomping every Saturday.

If I'm wrong, I'll take my crow with a side of slaw. If I'm right I reserve to feed you yours in any manner I deem appropriate.

You have earned the right !

I'd have to agree that casey's pizza is probably the best convenience store food you can get. But the 49 cent 32 fountatin drinks at kum & go is the best value

Not for the month of August. QT has 32 oz for $.39
Can't beat 2 Jalepeno Cheddar Cheese Hot Dogs and 32 oz of Diet Dew with a shot of Rooster in it for $2.39.

Food!  Finally something an ex-olineman knows what he is talking about.  I guess in my neck of the woods it would be Kwik Trip (or Kwik Star).  Their Hot Spot has really improved their food.  Pizza...not so much.  But if you get the cheesy bread or some soup, not a bad lunch at all.  I do agree you can't go wrong with Casey's.  Of course if you are talking about stumbling home from the Pour House, any food at Kwik Star is amazing.

Found this on one of the other boards thought it was pretty cool....

I've just added Division 2 and Division 3 teams to the simulation I've been working on. They are listed under College Football Div 2, Div 3.

The simulation generates a final score, box score, and player stats. The player stats are generic until I can find a listing of all teams. You can edit rosters and create/copy a team. Set up a tournament or play in a league (32 teams, (4) eight team divisions, stat tracking, standings and playoffs.

I only have 2006 and 2007 teams online for these division's, I'll be adding more today. Here is a sample game from 2007. Hit play again for a different result or select new teams.

I can adjust pass/run ratio and certain player stats as I find info at some point, I just wanted to get the teams online to test. Take a look.
