Congrats WH on the new future Knight.  Have you locked in that tuition yet?

Fred Jackson has 10 rushes for 34 yards.  Better than UWW's Derek Stanley who has one rush for 5 yards and a fumble for St. Louis.  Hopefully Jackson gets to be a regular name in the NFL.

No, a ShowMe quote, just a sign that I'm a great coach

Freddy is hardly staying in the games.  They are taking him out along with the rest of the starters.  He will be a key contributor for the Bills this year.

There were a bunch of physical specimens on display today at Coe's media day. Tate Harrison, particularly, looked ready to take some heads off. Calvin Thomas, Jordan Pinckney, Jordan Wilkens and, of course, Tommy Breitbach, all looked much bigger that last year. Of course, I'm much smaller than last year, so maybe it's a wash. Let the games begin.

I have to agree with you on Tate, I saw him over the summer and all I can say is WOW, What a impressive young Man.  I tryed to get him to take a roofing job in Waverly but he said No.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Who are the contenders for the QB spot for the Dutch.  I know they have Nate Snead and Zach Bandow.  Are there any others that could push for the starting spot?

If I remember correctly (and I may not)  but Cornell's troubles were stopping both the run and pass against Central the last three years.  I think stopping the run and pass will have to be the norm in the IIAC if you want to put W's on the board.

That may be true but the running attack causes the most problems, eats up the clock, tires out the defenders, etc.

By stopping the runs, it forces the offense to be one dimensional, passing which is a higher risk.

So if Cornell can stop Central from running the ball effectively, Central will be closer to losing.

And IF my aunt had a sex change, she would be my uncle.
Thanks, Thunderbolt, nothing like snorting pop out the nose to get the day off to a great start.   :D

Why is it when I read a quote like this, the phrase "steroids will do that for you" comes to mind?  I'm certainly not trying to imply anything, it is said in jest, but it is the first thing that popped into my mind when I read those two sentences the way they were written.   ;D ;D ;D

Stanley is a receiver/kick returner.

Are there any other D3 guys we should be watching for in the NFL?  This is Stanley's first year correct?  I assume with some good coaching he might start catching some more and taking a bigger role.

I haven't had a chance to watch a Bills game yet, but it's encouraging to know that they are trying to keep him healthy and fresh.  If I owned a Coe t-shirt I might even consider wearing it when on watch a Bills game....OK, maybe wave it around like a flag or towel.
