This was posted on the MIAC board.  I am glad that there aren't any IIAC presidents doing this.

Yikes, I don't even know what to say about that.  What in the world would make him think that was a good situation to be in???

Study the picture more closely and I am sure you can come up with some reasons.  Not that they are good reasons but they are reasons.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

3. Simpson- most improved and will beat central but will drop one somewhere
Well, I guess it could happen.  The Dutch are only 9-1 against Simpson the last 10 meetings, so Simpson has been victorious 1x in the last 10 years.   :o :o :o

hey i respect what central has done the last bunch of seasons. indisputable. based on last year when simpson won every stat except points and simpson is better this year i've drawn an uncommon conclusion - that simpson wins. also dont believe central can houdini their way through this year

between me and the cornell faithful it looks to be quite a year in the iiac! ;)

This guy's response on his drinking...
"When asked about the propriety of his actions, Paxton said he did nothing wrong.

"I wasn't misbehaving," he said. "I wasn't drinking. I didn't drink that day. For the record, I did not drink that day. I don't drink. I seldom drink, I should say."

Quoting Monty Python:

Did you dress her up this way?

NO!  NO! No...no...a bit...a bit.  Well, we did do the nose.

The nose?

And the hat!  But she's a witch!
You can't leave me....all the plants will die.

The games between Central and Simpson have been pretty close, at least closer than the w/l record over the last 10 years.  I'm curious, why/how is Simpson better this year?

Is Central still the big game for Simpson fans?  I'm probably in the minority, but when I look at the Central's schedule I'm more interested in when the Wartburg and Coe games are scheduled (as of right now b/c they are at the top and have given Central the most problems loses).  10 years ago, it was definitely Simpson for me.

I give the Dutch the edge b/c its the last game of season and at Pella.  Regarding Houdini, Houdini was Hungarian...not Dutch.

That photo, not only brings up ethics concerns, it also brings into question his judgement in buying vodka. I would think Belvedere or maybe Grey Goose for a man of his stature.

Defense doesnt have to be great as long as the offense can put up 35 per game  ;D

Or your kicking game can bounce footballs off the uprights and in after having the ball deflected  :'(

You just HAD to bring that up!!!

Only because we know how proud you are to be able to say you took one of the top 8 teams in the playoffs to 3 over times and only lost by a deflected kick going through the uprights after hitting one of them.   ;)

Well, I guess we know where the party school is now.  The IIAC isn't even in the running on this one.  Thankfully!  Wow, what was he thinking!

oldNorse

LC Norse...you asked about the Luther scrimmage yesterday.  My guy at Lutherland, who saw the scrimmage, said "They have some work to do in some areas of the field."  Now since the Spring floods were so devestating to the practice fields he may have been talking about the grass or he may have been talking about the team.
A second insight he said is that Ruck is shifted to tight end, Darin to DB and the QB is up for grabs as he saw it.  Looks like there is a long way to go to Valhalla.  Pray to Oden and Thor !!
