The one thing I find a little suprizing is the relative small size of Wartburg's freshman class. (49)
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I would expect Coach Willis will have more new Knights next year.

Warthog, I had heard that Coach K wanted to recurit around 50 kids this year instead of the 60 to 90 kids in the past. It sounds like he was right on that number before he left.

Funny...I would have thought to be Kanigget fan, being an a$$hole was a prerequisite.

:D  :D   ::)

Heys, you beat every Kohawk on the board to the punch.  Maybe every non-Knight IIAC'er.

You guys are just jealous   ;D ;D ::) ::)

Klopenhiemer

Best of luck to all the IIAC schools tomorrow.  Lets make sure all the boys win tomorrow.  Lets bring all the boys home tomorrow evening injury free regardless of the outcome.

GO BEAVERS!!!

The Dutch are 6-0 in nonconference games that last three years.

Bethel and St. Johns  :P

Not quite the same as Northwestern, MN...but still!!!

You didn't ask about playoffs.   ;D ;D ;D  If you want to count playoffs as noncon then the Dutch are 8-3 over the last 3 years more noncons that any IIAC school :o :o :o

I am hoping that if Dubuque can't beat the Central curse this year the Spartans can at least beat the Connell curse and win at Redlands ;D

I hate to go against you DD but I have to be loyal to the kid. ;D ;D ;D

I can understand that...wouldn't expect anything less.

To echo what Klopenhiemer said earlier...good luck to the entire IIAC tomorrow.

To the guy who picked grandview over Simpson tomorrow. Yes they have serious athletes but Briar Cliff was not very good. in fact they where terrible hope you don't think all schools play that bad.. Simpson has some serious athletes also ::) ::) ::) ::)

Purple Heys

I am in BEEEYOOTIFUL Mount Vernon, Iowa!  A healthy drive from St. Paul, Minnie.

Let's put a hold on that rain.  I am defiantly wearing my shorts tomorrow!

And my Horns!

The Rams are gonna ring that bell tomorrow!

And good luck and good health to all IIAC teams tomorrow.

Hey Cedar Rapids:  Nice Mayor.

Just caught the news flash on "Sleepy" Halloran.  Maybe there's a place for her as a JC president or something...isn't one of them hiring?

I took a bit of a sidetrack and drove through Waverly.

I drove around W-H Stadium...very nice, 1st class facility.

The new fitness center really complements the football stadium.

An early scouting trip for Rev. 3 perhaps???  ;D

Taking a look at the Dubuque roster, they have a freshman WR named Chad Johnson.  If they have any marketing sense at all they will have to get him out of #82 and into #85 pronto!!!

Charlie Kohawk

It's cloudy and cool at the Rock Island KOA, where life doesn't get much better than WiFi beside the campfire. The smell of pigskin fills the air. Wishing you all a fun, safe and victorious opening weekend.
