This is so touching -- I feel like I am witnessing history in the making. A Spartain and a Duhawk making friends publicly? Oh, it almost brings a tear to my eye, it's so beautiful.... ;)

Next thing you know Dutchie will be telling us she's getting married to a Simpson alum  ;D ;D ;D

I would prefer if they said they didn't like UD instead of pretending it doesn't exist.

Sorry for the downer...again, for the most part I have always got along great with Loras students...just not multi-generationsl Dubuquers.
Now that things have really turned around financially at UD, do you suppose the attitude might change?  At least for some people?
I doubt it.  There's probably about a generation's worth of DBQers that will have to die off before anything changes.

I dated a guy from Simpson once -- let's just say that I'll never make that same mistake again. A girl's gotta have standards. ;)
A pessimist is a man who feels that all women are bad. An optimist hopes so.

Now all we need is a picture of a Knight and Norseman hugging along with a Dutchman and Storm shaking hands, and a Beaver and a Peacock bending over :o :o :o

Sorry DF2K4 I know this is a family board!!!

my ex wife went to Loras...I hate Loras
sorry, had to vent there!
When I was at UD, there was a perception that Loras was beter than UD, on a million levels..the gap has closed athletically and facility wise, but the old people still hate UD, dont ask me why..

We would disown her for something like that.  You think the people in Dubuque are bad, you haven't seen anything!!!   ;) ;) ;)

Where are you Heys.  My big weekend is coming up.  Are you still coming to the game Saturday night.  Looking forward to seeing my favorite QB and coach this weekend.  Hoping for selfish reasons that the IIAC (UD) loses a game.  Maybe that curse will still be in effect. What do you think Doolittle?

I am making my plans to be in Redlands, at latest before 11:00AM PDT.  I will listen to the Cornell Webcast then I am open.  I may get in town the night before but that depends on the warden.

I was hoping to wrangle you to take in a little local flavor with me at El Burrito sometime that afternoon prior to gametime.  I have no idea of the UofR tailgate scene...do you know of anything?

PM me and we can discuss further.

Mr. Heys was telling me last weekend he was planning on spending saturday with you in Redlands.  And taking you out to Eddies Carne Asada as well!!!  If that goes against your diet you can always save it and bring it back to me  ;D

I will say after watching the Spartans last weekend that they are an improved team from last seasons team.  Better, and deeper.  That doesn't mean they will win at Redlands...or at Central or at Wartburg for that matter.  But they do look very very good so far!!!  And I will throw 3 exclamation marks in there for you  :P

If we go there I may just bring you back some.  It is not all that far to LPC from Marshalltown.

Eddies is in San Diego...you'll need to make a side trip.  I'm pushing for you to partake in an El Burrito Bean, Meat, Cheese and Rice Burrito...or you might want to try the Garbage Burrito.
