Purple Heys

FINAL wartburg 37 Cornell 14. Turn overs killed Cornell who if you take away the turn over played a very good play game. I think they just need to learn how to win and stop making mistakes, they are not that far away from being a good team. I also don't think Wartburg played a very good game either. We still can run the ball. If we don't improve we will not run out the conference.

Jekyll showed up the first drive of each half. No more points besides that.
Wartburg will lose twice this season if we can't figure out how to run the football.
I want to start a petition that says "bring back power" Not power football, but just the play "power" in general. Used to be our bread and butter. A little QB power out of one back. Bring in the FB a little more often. Maybe a little Iso. There's just nothing that goes straight ahead on short yardage situations and its frustrating as an ex-assknocker to watch.
Defense will be fine.
Spread offenses will by nature put up a lot of yards and struggle in the redzone.
I guess I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day, although it was fun to get a pretty win last night.

I try to never blame the officials, but the crew that worked today's Coe-Loras game was an incompetent as I've seen at any level, ever. Wow were they bad!
