Officials were bad in Coe v. Loras, but bad on both sides!  If Coe has discipline and doesn't rough the passer twice on the last drive, it wouldn't have come down to the last play.

Not sure.  Seen them many times, but they had a new LJ that seemed a little out of his element.

For some newbies, the game is moving way too fast for them and they are not in position to make the correct calls. For some oldies, it is the same way.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Then again...accompanied by home made chili, a video webcast, 4 Sierra Nevadas and Mrs. Heys... a good day.

;)

Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.  Must be nice to be able to watch your son play from so far away.  We have family over and home made chili as well.  Of course we are in mourning for our Hawkeyes and Spartans :'(

The Show

3 certainties in life: Death, Taxes, and Iowa laying a #$%&@!* egg every year against Northwestern.

At least the Beavers saved the weekend!  Stomping Nevada yesterday helped as well.
Sometimes You're the Windshield & Sometimes You're the Bug!

LCNorse

Totally different LC team today then last week. Offense seemed to be back to what it looked like in week one and defense could not get off the field. Very frustrating game to watch, a lot of missed tackles pretty much a good ol butt kicking...prompts to simpson

And I had such high thoughts on the Spartans...I really thought they looked good when I saw them the first game and the 1st quarter against the UofR
You can't leave me....all the plants will die.

Purple Heys

BTW - I  am now sentenced to 2 hours of HGTV after the game.

Another Sierra Nevada makes it bearable...   :D

Jr.:  7 catches for 77 yards.

27 catches on the year...he is working hard on his blocking too, but when in the spread its hard for him to make more of an impact there.

He's having fun on punt coverage...3 tackles in the last 2 games.  He misses playing defense somewhat, but catching never sucks.    8)

I can honestly say that I am still proud of the Rams.   :)

As a dad you should be.  It takes something inside to keep suiting up and trying your hardest.  They will get better.  Just one SN? ;D ;D ;D

Trojans failed to get adequate penetration against the Beavers.   ;)

Did I say that?!?   ;D
