DUTCH WIN!!!!!! Tough luck for the Rams today. Chalk it up as an emotional victory that you hung with one of the top teams in the conference for that long. Again, the Dutch like to play the cardiac kids.

Dutch win.  Coe also wins in OT.  Congrats to all the winners today, sounded like some great games!

Rams found a way to lose this.

Had the Dutch stopped but a 4th down Def. holding call gives the Dutch the wiggle room they needed.

The Rams need to have the same emotion I have right now.

Extreme anger.   >:(

Congrats to Coe on the overtime win today, 22-19.  Coe blew a chance to win the game right at the end of the 4th quarter when they fumbled inside the Luther 5.

Coe did almost nothing on offense all day even though they had the wind and great field position in the 4th quarter.  Both defenses owned the field for most of the day.  Both defenses were very strong as usual up front.

Luther has a very good defense and a solid freshman QB.  The defense played very well today as Coe returned a fumbled kickoff back for a TD and recovered a muffed punt return by a senior Norse WR in the end zone for the other regulation TD.  The lack of being tough in all phases of the game finally did them in.

Luther was up 10-0 at the half even though they ran out of time in the 2nd quarter with the ball at the Coe 4.

Luther also missed an extra point for the 4th time in this year. :-[  It was another bad day to be the special teams coach as Coe outscored the Norse 14-7 in that phase of the game.

The defense is playing great, you have a lead at home, and then you can't be at least average on special teams.  The buzz at the game at Waverly might have been fun next week.

So congrats to Coe for passing for the winning TD when they had not been able to throw the ball all day.  What a crazy game, but Coe has found a way to do this to the Norse in recent years.

It would have been nice to go into a bye with a win.

Maybe we finally go in a whole lot pissed off and come out and take it out on an opponent.

Maybe the thing to take from this is that we are not that far away.

It would have been nice to win this though...

We had our opportunities...

Missed an INT that would have thwarted the Dutch scoring 2 plays later.

Failed to defend fairly on 4th and goal from the 5 when caught holding on the outside...2 plays later the Dutch score.

We got the ball on the Dutch 25 with 3 minutes and fail to do anything, where a score puts the game away.

Missed an early extra point that would have been the winning difference.
