Before I answer the poll question ...

My Spanish tells me it is Ba -- way -- na  Vista.   :D

But having lived in Iowa tells me is is Bue -- na Vista.    ;)

So do we vote the the Spanish way or the Iowa way?   ???

Reminds me of the way some folk massacred the pronounciation of Dubuque.   :-[

Central can rectify their season by beating BV on Saturday. I'm not too worried though. I've been calling for Cornell to upset them in week 10 for about the last 4 weeks.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

LCNorse

Was very surprised to see the lack of turn out on the Wartburg side on Saturday...although I suppose the "rivalry" really isn't as big of a deal to the side that has won 16 of the last 17...in order for it to be a big deal Luther needs to start winning some of the games. Also found the announcer to be rather comical with some of his descriptions of the game...But I kind of expect that at Wartburg.

Reynolds continues to grow and I am very excited to watch him for the next 3 years. If LC wins out, a 6-4 season would be a very successful season for this program...heck at the start of the year if you would have told me we would have been 5-5 and I would have been pretty excited about that. Good things to come from this program...

I'm not sure if they have a student up there or who that is. Sounds young.

Is one QB taller than the other? We ran into that problem during practice a lot this year since our soph QB is 6'5 with arms that reach to the moon and the backup was 5'9. Lot smaller margin for error with a shorter QB.
Lackey is the taller of the two QB's, but not by so much that they should be going over Bandow's head.  Of course, earlier in the season I was griping because the snaps were to his feet.  Some people are never satisfied.   ;D

I would like to see the video of that play.  I wasn't sure if it went over his head or he was not ready for the snap.  It was a coslty mistake what ever the reason.

I'm guessing he's some long lost relative. I'm guessing he'll be hanging out on B-ball board soon.

I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

BTW, shouldn't we put out a missing person report on ShowMe?

Good thing we have Snead waiting in the wings, I hear there are lots of roofing jobs in Pella this summer.  Oh wait, it's Pella, there are lots of cobble street building jobs in Pella this summer.   ;D ;D ;D

Come on we both know that Central wouldn't ever resort to the levels of that "other Lutheran" school to the southwest of us

I thought about that when I posted the pickem results.  He hasn't been on for ever.  I guess he didn't need to talk straight any more.  It was a good laugh while it lasted.  I agree that the Rams have stepped up their talent and level of play.  The smack talk should wait till they start winning though.  Even then I am not sure it is a good thing to do.

I agree with that.  The Dutch would never use roofing jobs.  They would use replacement window jobs instead.   ;D ;D ;D ;D
