Doolitte - UNI outdoor O. R. Lathum or just the DOME?

Off the top of my head here's my list
Wart – Shield Stadium*,  Walston Hoover*

Just the UNI Dome for me.  We moved up here in 1982.  My dad spent his freshman year at UNI living in the stadium.  Post WWII meant there was a housing shortage for college students.  He then transferred to Iowa.

For Wartburg I have been to both Shield and Walston Hoover.  And the old PEC and the New W for basketball...as well as the West Gym to see Warty take on UD!!!

"Dettwiler, meanwhile, had eight starters returning from the Iowa Conference's stingiest defensive unit, but the pieces didn't fall into place until midway through the season.

"Honestly, the low point was against Cornell," he said. "It got pretty heated on the sideline and things weren't going the way we anticipated. There was a sit down with all of us afterward, almost like a come to Jesus meeting, talking about how we weren't satisfied."

"Almost" won't get it done against UWW! Maybe if the entire team studies John 3 on the bus over and does what it says, they will have a chance. Or at least He will help them keep their loss in perspective!  :)

I forgot I was at the last game of the season @ Waverly-Shell Rock high the year Shield Stadium was torn down to make way for WH.
Aaron Kampman on Coach Ed Thomas
I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Once again the Cornell influence is stamped all over the unprecedented success the Kaniggets are enjoying this year.   :D

I hereby declare this success for the Rams!    ;)

Go Rams...er....Kaniggets!   :)

Bought Jr. a car out there in Iowa 2 weeks ago.

He calls me yesterday to tell his car won't start...evidently his gas line froze..because he had less than a 1/4 of a tank...which in Oceanside at this time of year isn't much of an issue...but in Mount Vernon, IA apparently it is.   :o

OK so a new set of rules are needing to be understood by warm weather folks like us.

Anybody care to compile a list of things he needs to consider for winter vehicle use?  I'm no help.   8)

Thanks.
