Some interesting news today out of the Temple Daily Telegram is that while not finalized it is looking like next years non conference games for UMHB will be against Wesley (in Dover) and Williamette (at home) and they are still looking for a third.

Also UMHB will provide free live streaming of all ten regular season football games, all home events and select road contests in each sport.

Well it is definitely spreading out across the ASC and D3 in general for that matter. Right now in the ASC HSU, MC, TLU, UMHB and McMurry all offer some live video although you have to pay for McMurry coverage. The good thing is since that is over half the football playing teams you have a better chance of seeing the game than not seeing the game.

I'm pretty sure Sul Ross won't ever offer it since it's a state school and probably can't afford it. I know that live streaming is a great recruiting tool for schools up North that come to Texas to recruit....."You can watch all the games sitting right at home every Saturday"
Plus, I live out in the country and high speed internet is impossible when it comes to the speed required to watch live streaming.

congrats to HSU and Coach Burleson. Way to start off a new era on the right foot. Sure to miss Coach K. Best of luck to him and the family.

Let's consider this about HSU and the Version 2.0 of Coach Keeling football, this time led by Coach Burleson.  You have new blood in the HSU program.  Coach Burleson is going to do nothing to let Coach Keeling down.

Let's objectively look at the amount of energy that is seen in the HSU team this season.

This is not disrespectful. Rather, it should be one of the things that will be different, for the good, for HSU football.

Wow, FINALLY. Ive been saying for a while UMHB needs something like this. Take last year for example, they beat teams badly in the first two rounds of the playoffs last year. But when they finally got matched up with someone as talented and athletic as they were they completely fell apart. I'm not saying that this year they couldnt make a run and go all the way, because i really do think theyve got a shot. But i do think this i a good thing.

UTT and UTD do. Lots of small Masachusetts state schools do.
