McMurry will be a much different team without Mullin.

I doubt that the projected bracket is correct with McMurry heading west. I think that they will have McM and Trinity play and then send that winner to UMHB.

I hope UMHB keeps winning and I can go support them down in Salem.

8-)

Then who, in your mind, plays Linfield? And who plays UMHB? And how do you do that without a second flight being required?

Im just saying that the NCAA is relatively predictable when it comes to Texas teams. Good luck Cru

QuoteD O.C., would you mind explaining your prediction and why this wouldn't be a close match up?

Sure...

Your Rushing Offense (#8) against their Run D (#46)

Their Rushing Offense (#41) against your Run D (#40)

Your Passing Offense (#166) against their Pass D (#235)

Their Passing Offense (#87) against your Pass D (#130)

You faced 5 of the top 100 passing teams including the #1 (McMurry) and 4 top 100 Rushing Offenses.

You gave up 288 to McMurry, but that game was so crazy with the lightning, it's really hard to judge. You played great D in the first half, they played great D in the Second.

The key stat, you have the #7 punt return stats and the #6 KO return stats. Your special teams is electric and can turn a game for us. I look to that as being your catalyst. If you are getting good special teams yardage, then things will go well for you.
:D

Actually, it means nothing, but games against the Crusaders were more competitive than Redlands games. They've dodged LINFIELD for eight years. In 1998 we won 24-23 and then 48-0 the next year. After we beat them first game of the season and then in the playoffs in 2003 they took a step back and took on ETBU and NCC instead.

We can always use a new in-region opponent, whether it is Coe or Redlands or Whittier (vs Sul Ross in El Paso in 2009) or UWLacrosse.

Thanks for resubmitting what I previously posted.

I do think it means something, though, when you look that at the beginning, we both played top tier programs. We got by in the pistol offense, then went on to get better from the I as we went through teams who historically have be weaker. Redlands on the other hand struggled against some of the weaker teams in their conference, so when I look at their statistics, to me it means that we should be stronger and more able to win this game. Do you not agree D.O.C.?

I think that is a good analysis. :(

Your :( makes me feel some sarcasm there. Yes or no?
That is the "sad" symbol that somehow is always broken on my machine.  It is the first time I tried it.
I went to a SCIAC school, so I follow the SCIAC closely.  I plan to be at the game.  I'm hoping to see some Redlands posters.  Otherwise I will sit on the home side.
Well I will be looking for you at the game Gray Fox. I also attended a SCIAC school and played for Whittier in the early 80's. I now have a son with the Cru /UMHB. I have met Coach Maynard and seen him coaching in action at Redlands. He will for sure have his Bull dogs prepared and as ready as can possibly be. I wish them the best of luck and hope thay can hang close to the Cru. I personally think the Cru will be too powerful to overcome. Hope to see a close game.  Go Cru!

OK OK thanks for taking my joke with salt.

UMHB has tough playoff experience. It would be one of the major upsets of the season were Redlands to win by a point. The other major upset was them beating North Central in California.

Leaving for Austin in the morning.  Making the trip to support the DAWGS and if a huge upset/miracle occurs, I want to be there to witness it!  Are the tickets on sale now?  Will I be able to buy a ticket at the gate?

Found the answer to my own question!  Thanks!

Tickets for the UMHB/Redlands game will go on sale to previous season ticket holders on Wednesday, November 16th, from 3:00-6:00 PM. Season ticket holders may also purchase tickets from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 17th. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Thursday afternoon from 1:00-6:00 PM and then on Friday, November 18th, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for seniors and students (ages 3-college age) and will be sold from the Mayborn Campus Center ticket windows off of University Drive. There are no complimentary tickets or passes for NCAA postseason contests.

Glad to hear some fans of Redlands will be making the trip. Do the fans of Redlands travel well? For those that can't be there is live video of the game through CruAthletics.com

Correct.  I don't want to make a last minute run in the standings just because everyone else stops playing. :P

Altho' with the 2 or 3 really bad weeks that I had, that is the only way I can probably win.
