Be sure to bundle up and bring those ponchos if you're coming to Belton for the game. Forecasts are showing highs between 40-46, and rain chances between 50%-60%.

i wonder if there will be a repeat of the North Carolina Weslyan game when NCW came to Texas thinking it would b warm and had no cold weather gear for the rain soaked 36* day

Man I hope not, that was terrible. Felt so bad for the NCW guys who also did not have any cold or wet gear.

i felt kind of bad for them, but at the same time how do you make that trip without cold weather gear in November. Use the internet. The forecast was right.

I must say even though we had our big coats and ponchos that game was still pretty miserable to sit watch. I sure would not have wanted to be one of the guys from NCW. By the end of the 3rd qtr it looked as if they had given up completely. If I remember correctly not once in that game did NCW cross onto our side of the 50.

i think that's right. I soaked through 2 pair of gloves and several layers of clothing but stayed till the frigid end. I think I'll be bringing the polypropylene Saturday just in case

Holy cow. High of 37.

I guess I'll have to add an extra layer. Hopefully we don't get much rain.

Most humble apologies, Dr Bawcom.

For some reason, I was confusing the influence of the ME (northern) church on Methodist education in Texas and at Oklahoma City U.  ( The Methodist branches re-unified in 1939.)

Bought a couple ponchos and gloves for the game tomorrow. Hoping we don't have a complete replay of the weather from NCW game a couple years ago.

I think that just as much as the Redlands O has gotten better, I think our D has gotten better. I think it could be fairly close, 10 pts, in the first quarter, but after that I think UMHB will run away and wear down their line. Especially with the weather, I think our depth at RB and Anderson toting the rock, it will be a wash, no pun intended.

The lock on the ball is going to be key. If either team starts fumbling, that could be a difference. Also, going north to south from end zone to Alumni House, could be key. The wind will be blowing steadily that direction giving the throwers a chance to do some damage.

i hope I can get out tomorrow. Everything up here is slush covered and it's supposed to hit again in an hour or so. If it's clear enough I may come in tonight.
