Paper says Diaz out for breaking team rules. Have to admire Coach Fred for sticking to the rules for everyone, no matter the cost.

Well, so much for feeling sorry for him. He let his teammates down big time. Congrats to the Coach. Shows a lot of character.

gonna be a good one today in Belton. I think UMHB wins in a close one. Game in the 20's. enjoy the game if you go. just talked to skunkssidekick and he said it is snowing like a mofo in alliance, so it should be fun to watch.

Coach Fred made the the same decision about another defensive lineman during the 2004 playoff run.

Well I was expecting 48 degrees and sun but looks like the weather here in Belton is the same as Dallas. Upper 40's, overcast, and windy. I really hope we have a big crowd today

the same decision in 2004 was for the quarterfinal game; the athlete had a great game in the semis

dont agree with the field goal decision. have to try to get the lead, losing 16-12 is ok, losing 16-15 and never getting the ball back with a chance to win makes no sense to me.

3rd downs killed UMHB all day. And, I'm astounded that UWW didn't have a single penalty. No way thats possible,IMO

Why or why did we run the fullback 3 plays in a row out of the I and then switch QBs and go to the pistol. The false start killed us. I thought for sure we were going to score. That decision made no sense.

I thought we should have gone for the TD also. If we didn't make it, they had the ball inside the 5. The timeout was bad too. Then to kick a field goal after the timeout! Whew!

Gotta let the players try and win the game. The field goal was not the right call. Especially after using a time out.

Unbelievable that NOT ONE holding call was made on their offensive line all game. There were a couple of times their o-line pulled our d-line down by their shirts. Some really nice tackles (insert sarcasm).

UWW played a solid game though. I give them a lot of credit. They made the plays when they had to. I too was going crazy in the stands when we kicked the fg. Hard to figure.

Good season CRU. Hold your head high!!

Good luck to UWW. I hope y'all beat Mount next weekend.
