Congratulations to the Cru for a great season.  My son after playing the last 4 years for UWW is a student assistant this year and I talked to him just before the game and just after.  He said that everyone he met associated with UMHB was a class act.  He said your "Cruthedral" is an outstanding facility.

I understand your frustration at some of the play calling during the game, we had some similar frustration with the offensive play calling of UWW.   I understand that the wind was far more a factor than the ESPN3 broadcasters relayed.

Hold you heads high, you have an outstanding program.

Congratulations to the Cru on a great game and a great season! You have a great program and so much to be proud of. I have no doubt we will be meeting again soon. How about in the Stagg Bowl next time!!

The FG call was just bizarre.  As UWW showed, ONE first down was all they needed to effectively end the game.  If you have THAT much faith in your defense, STILL go for it.  If you don't get the TD, UWW takes over so deep in their own territory that you might get the safety, in which case now you get the ball back where a FG would win the game.

I just cannot understand the reasoning behind that call.

Right.  Without the timeout, UWW would have needed TWO first downs to run out the clock.

How they could confer during a timeout and reach THAT decision is beyond me.

Obviously a very good coach to get this far pretty consistently, but today I think he cost them any chance of a win.

Thank you CRU for another great season. Today's loss was a tough one for we fans to follow. I can only imagine how tough it is for the players and coaches choke down.

Thank you seniors for four great years.

All I will say about the decision to kick the field goal is this: I would feel better about losing had we gone for it.

I agree. Had they just scored a TD to bring it within 2 would they have kicked the extra point?  No. They would have gone for 2. They were on the 3 yard line. Run your best 2 point conversion play. What a let down.

What was he thinking "I don't think we can get 3 yards.  So let's kick the FG, KO to a great team, hold them from getting a first down, force them to punt, get the ball back with 2 minutes to go, assuming we hold them, March right down the field with no time outs against a defense that has stopped us all day and kick a game winning FG as time expires.  Yeah let's try that because that sounds a hell of a lot easier than getting 3 yards.

It was a really great and hard fought game! The guys played their hearts out! One can only wonder what the outcome could of been if Diaz had played. It was reported that Diaz had broken team rules and Coach Fredenburg stuck to his guns and held Diaz accountable for his actions and benched him. My hat goes off to Coach Fredenburg, doing something he knew would have a direct effect to the game. Coach Fredenburg's actions shows his character, something that seems to be lacking today in sports! Diaz is now going to have to face his teammates and explain to them how his actions let the team down. All in all The Cru had a great season! The Cru had a great run...not bad since at the begining of the season The Cru wasn't even suppose to have made the playoffs! See you next season! Go Cru!

Feel terrible for the player that dropped that probable game winning touchdown.  That's one that I don't think you'll ever shake off.

can we chalk that up to being a noob on the board? There were questions because of losing LD and Javicz Jones, but no one thought they weren't winning the ASC and making the playoffs

Maybe he will get a nice letter from Jackie Smith.

Or like George W Bush's (#43) letter to Cade Foster.

I hope he does. Dude was a freshman RB I'm not sure had caught a pass all season. I didn't know who he was
