UMHB is currently leading Kickoff 2015 sales.  It's great to see so much enthusiasm from our fans... not to mention it's good for D3 as a whole!
Is there a place you can see the sales broken down by each school?

Not that I'm aware of.  I was just going by this tweet:

Great to see the CRU Nation's interest in the upcoming season.

Did anyone catch the scrimmage yesterday?

Did anyone catch the scrimmage yesterday?

I was there for the first half which ended with the game tied at 6. Defense looked pretty good despite getting burned for 2 long plays, one of which resulted in a long run for a TD and the other for a long pass that resulted in a missed 20 yard field goal. Offense never seemed to get on track while I was there but did feature some impressive displays by freshmen receivers.

Through the wonder of Twitter, I followed the rest of the game via a reporter from Mexico who stated that the Cru won 26-16 but I believe he is including 3 points the team from Mexico didn't get from the missed field goal.

Best news is during the time I was there no one appeared to get hurt and look decent enough considering they have only been practicing for a week and were facing a team from Mexico that is pretty good.

I agree with your assessment crufootball. The defense looked solid. The offense needs some work before the season opener with Ohio Wesleyan.

It is my understanding the team from Mexico is a scholarship program and regularly plays DII teams in Texas and is always very competitive. It was a good test and revealed where The CRU needs to focus in order to improve.

Out of curiosity, which school was the team from Mexico associated with?

So did anyone see if Zach was QB? Blake or possibly Zane Boles?

Zach played most of the 1st qtr with Blake getting most of the 2nd. To my knowledge none of the freshmen quarterbacks were even dressed.

Interesting note from the roster, it list TJ Josey as a WR and say he will compete for a larger role at that position this year.

To me it looks like unless something changes, we are in for the same type of line up we had last year.

Just a reminder that Kickoff 2015 releases today (in about 5 minutes, actually).  UMHB had a good early showing with orders.  I hope there are some other ASC fans out there who get it on the action, too.  In fact, if any of you are out there lurking, please sign up!  While it's fun to talk to other Cru fans, it would be great to have a more diverse crowd on here.

Read my version of kickoff ~ UMHBs wrap up seemed good, it appears that the big one to watch will be UMHB-TLU, loser may not move on (three think the loser will but one thinks no)  and that weird weather game last year ended up getting ugly for us, I'd hate to see that happen again. I was glad to see that Teidrick Smith is back in. It was a good assessment I think overall, great read

They always play us competitively. Someone said they had played at least four games so far. Not sure if that was true or not.

I just hope the focus is back and that eyes are open.  :o
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!
