Too funny, DFW!

Welcome to The Lone Star State, 11! Be safe tomorrow. With all the road construction, I35 from Waco to Belton can be an adventure.

We found a way around the construction last November when we were there for the playoff game. Just south of Waco take exit 328 and follow Spring Valley Rd about 15 or 16 miles to Moody. Take a right on 8th St/TX-107 then left on TX-317 and that takes you right into Belton. We were amazed at the 60 and 70 mph speed limits on two lane roads.

That's my preferred route, 88, especially since I live near 317 just north of Belton.

Final update for game time conditions at The CRUthedral for tomorrow's big game between UMHB and Linfield from Weather Underground: Temp at kickoff will be a comfortable 91 degrees  (a month ago it would have been triple digits) and will drop a few degrees during the game and be in the upper 80s. About a 6% chance of rain - so there will be a dry track. A slight breeze will be coming from the south at around 6 mph. There will also be a full moon. An awesome evening to take in a D3 football game.

I am not sure how automatic the replay feature is, but yes all our football games are available to be replayed through our athletic website.

Regarding Midway:  I think they played the first couple of games without their normal starting QB, who is a D1 prospect.  I believe he was back last week against Temple.  So, that could explain their early record.

Linfield folks:  Another BBQ restaurant in Austin that is outstanding is Stiles Switch BBQ on N. Lamar.  Food is great!  Cool note about it, they are actually in the building that was used for the pool hall scenes in Dazed and Confused.   Enjoy.

I ate here today -- thanks for the suggestion!

I will be there.

Any recommendations for must see/do in Austin or Belton?  I'll have all day Friday to check things out!

ok. so we should have a meet up of d3 folks before the game Saturday. any thoughts on a time and place?

If you want some good BBQ, we should all meet up at Millers.  Pat should meet us there also.  We could get there at lunch on Saturday and enjoy some good Q before the game.

Are people planning to do this? What time?
