I don't know if we will have the same type of electric atmosphere that was present when this video was shot. The weather on Saturday will likely impact the attendance. However, I believe the those who brave the cold and come out to The CRUthedral will primed and ready. I know The CRU will be.

To which the Wheaton faithful will no doubt say "cold?"

Cold I can handle.  Both sides of my family are from the north/northeast.  Plenty of time spent in that climate.  Cold + precipitation is when I start to grumble a bit.  Hopefully the forecast changes.  Either way, I'll be there.  I haven't missed a home game since the Cruthedral opened and I don't plan on starting now.

So for the last couple days, I've been watching the Wheaton/NCC game on YouTube. While Wheaton has some nice looking players and schemes, I don't see anything that makes me think there is an upset pending. Their receivers are athletic, and the RB reminds me of Marcelin from Rowan. NCC limited their inside run, so a lot of runs went outside the tackles. I think our team speed will help with that.

Defensively, their DE's got to the NCC QB. They are quick and opened themselves up for screens, draws, and QB draws. Wheaton's run D looks stout, but I'm not sure they've faced a Markeith Miller. And Duane Thompson is healthy after a few weeks off as well.

I look forward to the matchup. Should be fun.

#5 is a DT for Wheaton, Noah Spielman. If some of you recall that name it is because he is the son of former Ohio State LB Chris Spielman. Noah is a transfer from D1 Toledo and has been a key part of Wheaton's DL.

Sadly I'll not make it to the Cruthedral for this one, the boss put her foot down and we have holiday commitments that day, so it's adult beverages and toasty edibles and the Live stream for us, but the daughter will attend in our honor so we'll be a third there.
