Yeah I'd have to say getting within 3 TD's would be a win for ETBU. That Cru defense is other-worldly. ETBU has some good talent, but aren't quite to the level of UMHB yet.

The Cru D will have been pressed this week to ratchet up coming into this week's game after last week's "letdown" vs LC. I expect the D to come out energized. They'd like to return to the touchdown or less average they have had throughout the season. Hopefully that is true.

What intrigues me is the projected bracket. I absolutely love this and hope it is done this way. The ASC deserves the separation of its two biggest teams.

Has anyone seen both these teams?  I've only seen TLU and I know they have improved throughout the season.  Seems as though Southwestern is playing very well too, however I have not seen them play.  Thoughts?

I have seen both teams. TLU was here and Southwestern was just 30 min down the road in Georgetown.

Southwestern is undersized, and their offense struggled against a much bigger, faster, stronger Cru line. If TLU plays their game, I have to think they will win. If Southwestern can control the line offensively, they will give TLU a game.

Game Day! Time to bring in that ASC Championship!

Thank you to all of you posters who have served our country. My job changed this last year from BISD to Killeen ISD. I get to go ON Ft. Hood and serve military families each week. Good luck to the Cru today. I keep hoping Mount Union will meet you guys in the postseason. But, damn, UMHB , you scare me. Oh well, I'd still like to see the matchup. I always have faith in the Raiders. And by the way, they are also pretty good! We do have a few more games to play though.

Our offense looks pretty bad so far and defense not looking real dominant at times

Halftime in Belton and UMHB still hasn't showed up.

Hopefully they wake up in the 2nd half, because it almost looks almost like they're content to do the NCAA a favor and set up a justifiable matchup between 9-1 UMHB and 9-1 HSU next week. It's hard to understand how the offense, particularly the line, are still getting pushed around by a statistically terrible defense in game 10 of the season.

Wow. That was a serious game. Thankfully it happened now. I feel like I keep saying this, and I keep expecting it to get better. QB play, once promising, is lacking consistency.

KJ runs it without throwing INTs, so I think you have to go with him. As much excitement as I have for CRIII, he is playing scared and with a lack of understanding where defenses are going to be.

The defense was very shaky. I can't remember the last time someone had that much success moving the ball. I don't know if the last two weeks were looking ahead to the playoffs or what.

I'm glad we won and I hope things get better next week. All credit goes to ETBU. They played a wonderful game and show a LOT of talent for next year.

Sounds like both teams have some stuff to work on!
