The atmosphere at the Cat Dome was tremendous and the Linfield faithful were very welcoming except for a few that stood behind our sidelines yelling "F You" and flipping our players the bird, as well as taunting our fans. Other than that what a great atmosphere that they have created up in the North West.

As a long time Wildcat fan, that is embarrassing.
I apologize for all the good Linfield fans.   There is NO excuse for foul language at sports events.

If Linfield kicks the the ball anywhere near Bryce W. I'd be shocked.  Like Wildcat11 said our kickoff coverage has been a zoo all year.  We just need to kick the ball out of bounds and give it to them at the 35 each time.  It would be much safer that way.

I'll take my chances with the Cru offense having to go 65 yards against our D each time.  Of course, if we are kicking off a bunch that would be a-ok with me as it means that we are putting points on the board.

For punts I guess that you have to take your chances but maybe try to kick the ball low and have it bounce and tumble for extra yards.

I'm just glad that Mullins has graduated!

Are you happy from the defensive POV or the Punting?

Defensively, we have a freshman by the name of Jefferson Fritz who is the second coming of Baylor Mullins.

As far as punting goes, our punter this year is a former QB and runs like a gazelle. I feel comfortable with the ball in his hands.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

D O.C.

Might generate a few smites putting the blog on this page, WC11. Just warming up for this weekend, I see.

I don't think WC11 will get any negative karma from UMHB fans.  ;D

The whole towel thing just cracks me up, almost as much as The Nature Boy tweet.  ;D

yes 2011 Zane Boles (Punter/QB) can pull off a Baylor Mulllins style play, he has just never been tasked to do it yet more than once, but he did pull one off this season so far. He's 6'5" and has no problem seeing everything on the field into the next county so that bag of tricks is still in the box ready for the time it has to be opened.

HSUalum255....l think you pretty much nailed it...UMHB special teams are incredible.

"If I am making a prediction after watching both of these teams play HSU this year, I'm going with UMHB winning 17-6, I expect Mr. Wilkerson to return something for a TD whether that is a Punt or Kickoff and then UMHB's front four to control the line of scrimmage making Linfield one dimensional. As for UMHB offensively if the QB plays shaky it could be a long long day for the Cru. Good luck to both teams on Saturday."

Let's give thanks that we get to talk football and are not dealing with the Mount Union situation on the OAC board.

I'm going there now. Can you summarize what they've said?

It's all over the place... basically revolving around the issue with Fulford.

Looking forward to a great game. I think there will be more offensive output on both sides, but the Ds will likely still make things miserable for the Os.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.
