Does anybody know why Jarvis Thrasher did not play today?

I know Justin Bryson hurt his shoulder but I never say Thrasher...just curious.

minni

sounds like the team that played at hpu showed up today for umhb.  The umhb that showed up at hsu that saturday could be playing in salem in my opinion!

Wow!  It sounded like Wesley showed up with the deep passing game that TU would have liked to have shown last weekend.  All I can say is UMHB has nothing to feel bad about.  Great team and great last two seasons!

Cru....thanks for a great 4 years as a parent of a player...we have loved pulling for our team, as well as our son....Justin, Tito, Brian, Jerry, PJ and the other seniors....Hold your heads up....you have set standards high for upcoming players for UMHB....you assisted in defining "Cru Tradition" and help bring the National spotlight to an otherwise "sleepy Texas Town".  I have always said that a school's athletic program is like a house's front porch...that's what people see first.  BY GOLLY---What a front porch UMHB HAS!

Thank you....cru #33's Mom and Dad.   :'(

Love you all and best wishes for a successfull "life after football..."

I had to karmalize patcummings in his post 218. Right on.

minni, don't underestimate Wesley.  They have a great QB, receiver and o line.  The UMHB defense never put any pressure on the Wesley QB.  His deep throws were incredible, right on target time after time.  The Wesley defensive line was big and strong.  They took everything UMHB had to offer.  UMHB scored 36 points, which you would think would be enough to win the game.  Turnovers did them in.

Good season CRU! Another ASC crown and hosting the first playoff game in the program's history, two achievements of which to be very proud. While 9-2 was not how anyone wanted the season to finish, there are a lot of teams that would trade places with the Purple CRUsh.

UMHB will be back and as competitive as ever in 06!

You know what you're getting with Wesley and they should be intriguing against Bridgewater next week.

So much for UMHB getting that home game...

well for all you UMHB fans.  i do have some good news for you.  i just saved a bunch of money by switching my car insurance to GEICO.

I just recently heard from the umhb faculty athlete representative that the ASC is threatening to take away the barrels at the back of the endzones. Mainly b/c of one complaint for SRSU who won like one game! For real!

Ron Boerger

It's an NCAA rule that I have pointed out here in the past.

That said, if the ASC takes away one school's "artificial noisemakers," it should take them away from all.

Ron, were you at the game in Belton?  Thought I caught a glimpse of you running across the field, I guess heading to the interview room.
