Looks like I missed the fun. :)

You are missing out on all kinds of fun Pat.

The internet is a wild and terrifying place.

Can someone explain to me how I can vote on the karma stuff? Do I need to be a higher level than a JVer or what?

Kind of fun reading the exchanges between you and Hooyah Cowboys. What planet is that guy from? Wow! I guess he doesn't know who he's messing with. Well, he's young. Maybe he'll grow up some day. Anyway, enough of that stuff.?))
Just want to congratulate the Cru on a fine year. About 247 (is that right) would love to have that record. 14-1 sure beats the national average. Have a great holiday season and best to y'all next year.
(Maybe Mount lost last year because they had to play in "that" stadium). Hmmmmm!
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

GillCJ1 summed things up pretty well.

I find it amusing to read some posts concerning this game. If I had not watched the game and did not know the score, I would assume UMU beat UMHB 50-0. The game was, in fact, a close game that was in doubt until the 4th quarter. At least, from a UMHB perspective, there was hope into the 4th quarter.

Kelly, my thoughts exactly.  These teams are even, with the slight edge going to Fulford at QB and in the end that was the difference.  I would love to see these teams play 10 times.  I go with a 5-5 split, 6-4 in favor of Mount maybe.

MUC57 and wesleydad,

I appreciate the insight and decorum you gentlemen bring to the board. We've had some great games against Mount Union and Wesley and there is nothing but respect for both programs.

I shared my congrats to UMU shortly after the game. A great defensive game plan that shut UMHB down. Hats off to the Raiders for earning #13.

Right on wesleydad. dlip concurs with this assessment wholeheartedly. A close game by two incredibly talented teams where QB play may have been the difference.

Well then.  Perhaps I should have stayed logged in longer this morning!  No real point in replying to those posts now, though.

Have a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, everyone.  I'll save a piece of coal for a certain someone's stocking.

How the heck do you still have 0 negative karma? You need to go say some good things about St Thomas on the MIAC board and get that balanced out, sir. It's just not right.

Heh, thank you (or whoever is responsible) for the negative karma!  Feels good to finally be rid of that glaring goose egg.   :)

Speaking of eggs, shame the Cru had one of their own this past weekend.

Sorry for the DP, but in some early off-season coaching news it appears that former Belhaven HC Hal Mumme has found himself a new home.  He'll be the OC for FCS Jackson State University.  http://www.clarionledger.com/story/sports/college/jackson-state/2017/12/17/jsu-hire-air-raid-guru-hal-mumme-next-offensive-coordinator/959789001/
Looking forward to see how JSU does with the Air Raid offense.

It wasn't me. But I'll take the blame for pointing it out and somebody else following up on it (I think the same could be said about Twitter right now).

You will have to try harder to earn -k from me.

Yep.  Plus, like Pat said, at least he didn't have to travel far to get to his new digs.   The 2 schools are only 10 minutes apart!  :P
