That is making a statement!  He brings a high profile immediately.  I can foresee LC seeing themselves as the LSU of D3!

All a team need is a coach like that and you will get some great recruits.  They will be a team to keep your eyes on.

The hiring of a new coach answers the question of where Louisana College is headed with their football team.  The college would not have hired a coach of this status without plans to give him the support he needs.  He would not have come without a certain level of support.

Things at Louisiana College are looking up more and more every day.  It was a constant struggle with the previous administration.  The support, or lack thereof, was definitley a struggle that we faced day in and day out.  It is good to see our administration jumping on board to improve the football program.  I am very excited in the direction that Louisiana College Football appears to be headed. Here is to a great off-season to the entire ASC.

     Well. I am in d3football withdrawal.  I tried to watch the game the other night on TV  Utep and somebody.  Couldn't get interested.  It's bad!!  I probably need to invest in some d3 videos: one of this year's Stagg Bowl, the UMHB-Trinity game  and perhaps the Linfield-UW-WW game.  Anybody have any idea where to get those?  It's going to be a looooong off-season --at least until baseball gets here.  I know, I'll make desserts for the BC Eagle Club and it's great. But it's not the same!!
  I've managed to wrap one, exactly one present and bake 2 cakes, one for each of my Luray brothers' families.  Tree still in closet.
     It sure was a fun time last Saturday!  I enjoyed meeting all the posters from WW and MUC.  I think the tailgating was great fun.   Props to Llama and Skoal for leading the way and to d3fotball.com because that is how we all got together and had a great time in fellowship & friendship about football.  The Stagg Bowl and this web site brings so many people together.  Last year I had the privilege to meet great Linfield and UMHB fans and get photographed with the huge Linfield flag (Thanks, Chuck and Tim!!)  I'm beginning to think if your color isn't purple, you can't go to the Stagg Bowl.   All I have seen the last 2 years is Purple.  Of course it is my favorite color.  Ah, I'm beginning to feel better, Tinkerbell is that you?
      When I leave for the sticks tomorrow, I will have no access to computers until I get back.  But when you get back from feasting and opening that box of socks, ties, shirts or other unmentionables, give us a post re those videos if you can!!  Gotta go! 8-2 will be a dramatic leap.  LC will still need to get better players to compete.  Seems they are headed in the right direction.  Hope you have a successful off season.  Maybe you got an early Christmas present!
